Seed coating compositions including ethylene copolymer and lubricant
Coated seeds and methods for reducing seed dust and increasing seed flowability are disclosed. The coated seeds include a seed and a coating composition. The coating composition includes a binder comprising an ethylene copolymer and a lubricant comprising a wax composition. In some embodiments, the ethylene copolymer includes an ethylene monomer and at least one comonomer. The comonomer is selected from acrylic acid, acetic acid, derivatives thereof, or mixtures thereof. In some embodiments, the wax comprises a Fischer-Tropsch wax, a carnauba wax, a polyethylene wax, a soy wax, a paraffin wax, a scale wax, a slack wax, or a mixture thereof.
Ionic strength triggered disintegration of films and particulates
A composition comprising an ethylene (meth)acrylic acid copolymer and an anti-fouling agent is provided. The composition selectively disintegrates in media of different ionic strengths. Also provided is a method of preventing fouling using the composition.

Soft polyurethane coating for a golf ball
A polyurethane coating that is based on polyol mixture containing acrylic polyol and BEPD based caprolcatone polyol is disclosed herein. The polyurethane coating comprises a part A component and a part B component, with the part A component comprising an acrylic polyol, a BEPD polyol, a 3-Oxazolidineethanol, a fluorosurfactant, a hindered amine light stabilizer, a UV-absorber, an optical brightener, a dibutyltin dilaurate catalyst, and an organic solvent, and the part B component comprising an aliphatic polyisocyanate and an organic solvent.
Highly curable coating formulation for the inner surfaces of cans
The present invention relates to a water-based can inner coating based on a copolymer or a copolymer blend of at least one aliphatic and acyclic alkene having at least one ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid in water-dispersed form, wherein the can inner coating contains a water-soluble curing agent selected from inorganic compounds of the elements Zr and/or Ti, so that the need for using organic hardener systems can be largely avoided. The present invention further relates to a method for the internal coating of tin cans or aluminum cans, in which the previously mentioned can inner coating is directly applied to the metallic inner surfaces of the cans and cured without any need to carry out a conversion treatment for improving coating adhesion of the inner surfaces of the cans.

Golf balls having layers made of silicone elastomers
Multi-layered golf balls having at least one layer made of a foamed silicone composition are provided. Multi-layered golf balls having at least one layer made of non-foamed silicone elastomer composition also are provided. For example, three-piece, four-piece, and five-piece golf balls containing different core and cover structures can be made. The foamed silicones have good thermal stability and durability without sacrificing resiliency. The non-foamed silicone elastomers have high elongation, tensile strength, chemical/fluid-resistance, and weatherability properties. These compositions can be used to form any layer, for example, core, intermediate, or cover, in the golf ball.

METHOD FOR FABRIC-ELASTOMER BONDING
A method for bonding a fabric to a polyolefin elastomer. The method comprises applying to the fabric: (a) from 10 to 90 wt % of an aqueous dispersion of a thermoplastic polymer; and (b) from 90 to 10 wt % of an aqueous dispersion of a rosin, wherein percentages are based on total dry weight of thermoplastic polymer and rosin.
GOLF BALLS HAVING LAYERS MADE OF SILICONE ELASTOMER AND POLYURETHANE BLENDS
Multi-layered golf balls having at least one layer made from silicone (polysiloxane) elastomers; silicone (polysiloxane) elastomer/polyurethane blends; polycarbonate-polysiloxane blends and copolymers; and polycarbonate-polysiloxane/polyurethane blends are provided. For example, three-piece, four-piece, and five-piece golf balls containing different core and cover structures can be made.
