A layer structure having at least one metal element and at least one polyamide layer arranged at least regionally on the metal element, the structure preferably comprising an insulated electrical conductor wherein The polyamide layer consists of a polyamide molding composition consisting of the following components: (a) a polyamide based on cycloaliphatic diamines or cycloaliphatic dicarboxylic acids having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at 130 C.; (b) a polyolefin based on C2-C12 alkenes, and additionally on at least one monomer selected from the following group: maleic anhydride, itaconic anhydride, glycidyl acrylate, butene, propylene, glycidyl methacrylate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, vinyl acetate, C1-C12 alkyl (meth)acrylates, substituted or unsubstituted styrene, or a mixture of such monomers; (c) optionally an aliphatic polyamide different from (a), or a mixture of such polyamides; (d) optionally additives.

Gas-barrier laminate and packaging bag

Provided is a gas barrier laminate including: a paper substrate; an anchor coat layer including a first polyolefin having a polar group; a vapor-deposited layer; and an overcoat layer including a second polyolefin having a polar group, in order, in which the gas barrier laminate includes a layer including a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin between the paper substrate and the anchor coat layer or between the anchor coat layer and the vapor-deposited layer.

Lidding structure based on aromatic polyester film, coextruded with a sealable/peelable epdxy-containing thermoplastic polymer

A multi-layer film structure suitable as a sealable sheet used for closing foodstuff containers with a peelable seal. This multi-layer film comprises a polyester substrate layer and a heat-sealable layer. The heat-sealable layer is applied by coextrusion and contains an epoxy-containing thermoplastic polymer composition comprising residues of epoxy-containing monomers selected from glycidyl methacrylate, glycidyl acrylate, allyl glycidyl ether, 3,4-epoxy-1-butene, and a mixture of any two or more of such monomers.
