An aqueous dispersion contains a resin component and water, wherein the resin component contains composite particles (D) having the ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer (A) and the polymer having an acrylic acid ester unit as a polymerization unit (B), and composite particles (E) having the ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer (A) and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (C).

The present invention provides polymer blends that can be used in a multilayer structure and to multilayer structures comprising one or more layers formed from such blends. In one aspect, a polymer blend comprises an ionomer of a copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid having a melt index (I.sub.2) of 1 to 60 g/10 minutes, wherein the total amount of ionomer comprises 50 to 99 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend, and a polyolefin having a density of 0.870 g/cm.sup.3 or more and having a melt index (I.sub.2) of 20 g/10 minutes or less, wherein the polyolefin comprises 1 to 50 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend, wherein the polymer blend meets the following equation: 3.5<2.76-60*I.sub.2(PO+308*RVR+0.023*A<4.5 wherein I.sub.2(PO) is the melt index (I.sub.2) of the polyolefin, RVR is the relative viscosity ratio of the polyolefin to the ionomer (I.sub.2(PO)/I.sub.2(ionomer)), and A is the weight percent of ionomer in the polymer blend based on the total weight of the blend.

Disclosed is an aqueous sealant composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery by which a sealant layer having excellent properties can be obtained. An aqueous sealant composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery of the present disclosure comprises an aqueous dispersion in an amount of 70 mass % or more and 97 mass % or less by mass of solid content, wherein the aqueous dispersion comprises an olefinic polymer as a main component.

Disclosed is an aqueous sealant composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery by which a sealant layer having excellent properties can be obtained. An aqueous sealant composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery of the present disclosure comprises an aqueous dispersion in an amount of 70 mass % or more and 97 mass % or less by mass of solid content, wherein the aqueous dispersion comprises an olefinic polymer as a main component.

A coated polymer film, such as a coated polyester film, is disclosed. In one embodiment, the coated film may be used as a substrate for digital printing. In one embodiment, the coating contains an anionic anti-static agent comprising a sulphonated copolyester resin. In an alternative embodiment, the coating contains an anti-static agent comprising an organometallic, such as an organo zirconate, in combination with metal oxide particles. The metal oxide particles may comprise nanoparticles. In one embodiment, the coating can further contain a print enhancing agent and an adhesion promoter.

Provided are adhesive articles that include a barrier layer that is substantially impermeable to oxygen gas at ambient temperature and pressure along with a heat-bondable layer, which could be a discrete layer adjacent to the barrier layer or integral with the barrier layer. The adhesive article further includes a backing extending across and coupled to the barrier layer and an adhesive layer extending across and coupled to the backing opposite the barrier layer. The barrier layer reduces or eliminates migration of plasticizers from the bonded seal into the adhesive article, limiting deterioration of tape performance over time.

Provided is an ionomer resin composition comprising a sodium-neutralized ethylene acid dipolymer and a sodium-neutralized ethylene acid ester terpolymer, wherein desirably at least one of the dipolymer and terpolymer is in part a recycle material. The described ionomer composition is particularly suited for use in making interlayers and glass laminates comprising such interlayers.

An adhesive film formed of a resin laminate has, on at least one surface of the adhesive film, an adhesive resin layer containing a modified polyolefin resin modified with a functional group that forms a chemical bond with an adherend, and an adjacent layer adjacent to the adhesive resin layer and containing a polyolefin resin, and the adhesive resin layer has a thickness of less than 10 m.
