According to an aspect, an inflatable implant includes a fluid reservoir configured to hold fluid; an inflatable member; and a pump assembly configured to transfer fluid from the fluid reservoir to the inflatable member, the inflatable member including a body member and a core member, the body member defining a first cavity and a second cavity, the core member being disposed within the first cavity, the second cavity being configured to receive the fluid.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR ENDOLUMINAL GRAFT PLACEMENT
A vascular graft comprises a perforate tubular compressible frame having a fabric liner disposed over at least a portion of the frames lumen. The graft may be used in combination with a base structure to form a bifurcated graft in situ. The base structure compresses a compressible frame having a fabric liner which defines a pair of divergent legs. The base structure is positioned within the aorta so that one leg enters each iliac. The tubular grafts can then be introduced into each leg to form the bifurcated structure. A graft delivery catheter includes a controllably flared sheath which facilitates recapture of a partially deployed graft.
Push and pull medical device delivery system
A system for delivery of a medical device includes a delivery member and a medical device, which is mounted to the delivery member and releasably retained in a delivery configuration for endoluminal delivery of the medical device toward a treatment site in a human vessel. The delivery member includes an elongated first portion configured to extend outside of the body from a first percutaneous access site and an elongated second portion configured to extend outside the body from a second percutaneous access site to allow positioning of the medical device at the treatment site by manipulation of the first portion and second portion from outside of the body.
CONTROLLED ENDOPROSTHESIS BALLOON EXPANSION
A medical assembly includes a balloon expandable endoprosthesis comprising a plurality of ringed stent elements flexibly connected to each other via at least one flexible connector, the endoprosthesis being deployable from an undeployed state with an undeployed diameter to a deployed state with a deployed diameter. The medical assembly further includes a catheter assembly comprising a balloon, and a cover along the balloon. The endoprosthesis is coaxially located about the balloon and the cover. One or more portions of the balloon and the cover reach an intermediate diameter between the undeployed diameter and the deployed diameter in which the portions of the balloon and the cover are inflated by increasing an inflation pressure within the balloon and approximately maintained at about the intermediate diameter until the inflation pressure increases by at least 1 atmosphere to overcome a yield strength of the cover.
Biliary stents and methods
A tissue lumen stent is provided with a body having an elongated tubular configuration and a foreshortened configuration. In the foreshortened configuration, downstream and upstream ends of the body expand radially into downstream and upstream flange structures, leaving a generally cylindrical saddle region therebetween. In some embodiments, the flange structures are non-symmetrical with respect to one another. Systems and methods of using the stents are also disclosed.

Surgical Implant and Process of Manufacturing Thereof
A surgical implant (20) comprises a flexible, areal basic structure (22) having a first face and a second face and being provided with pores (26) extending from the first face to the second face. A barrier layer (24) having a first face and a second face is placed, with its second face, at the first face of the basic structure (2) and attached to the basic structure (22). The barrier layer (24) is deformed into at least part of the pores (26) where it forms, in a respective pore (10), a barrier region (28).

A penile prosthesis includes an inflatable bladder and a sleeve. The inflatable bladder is adapted to provide a penis with an erection when the inflatable bladder is filled with a liquid. The sleeve is disposed over the inflatable bladder to increase a column strength of the inflatable bladder, which allows insertion of the inflatable bladder into a corpora cavernosum of the penis without a tow suture. The sleeve is aqueously dissolvable after implantation.
