LIQUID FORMULATION FOR TREATING PLANTS AND SKIN AND METHOD OF USE
An aqueous formulation for treating insects and fungal diseases on plants includes effective amounts of an HOCl-containing electrolyzed oxygenated aqueous solution, one or both of a food grade diatomaceous earth and a clinoptilolite zeolite, and one or more of a sodium magnesium fluorosilicate and a bentonite clay. The formulation, which is non-toxic to humans and pets, can be sprayed on the plants to kill insects and fungi and has a long dwell time to improve the effectiveness of the components of the formulation against insects and fungi. In particular, the formulation will kill bacteria, virus, mold, fungi, and may be used on food crops. The formulation also may be used as a plant and foliar cleaner and/or the formulation can be used to treat skin of a person to improve skin health.
AN ORGANOCLAY COMPOSITION AND ITS USE
An organoclay composition which is a mineral clay or mineral clay mixture that has been treated with at least organic quaternary ammonium compound and a synergist comprising (i) an amine salt of a trimer acid, and (ii) an amine salt of a monocarboxylic fatty acid. The monocarboxylic fatty acid may be (a) at least one saturated carboxylic acid; and/or (b) at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid.
HYPOCHLOROUS ACID-BASED HAND SANITIZER
A sanitizing formulation is disclosed for use as a hand sanitizer. The formulation may include hypochlorous acid, a silicone polymer or blend thereof, sodium phosphate, hydrochloric acid, and sodium magnesium silicate. Methods of using and making the sanitizing formulation are also disclosed.
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION FOR REMOVING BUG SPLATTER FROM VEHICLE WINDSHIELDS
A chemical composition for removing bug splatter from a glass substrate is provided that includes a surfactant present in an amount of 1 to 30 total weight percent of the composition. A chaotropic agent present in an amount of 5 to 20 for inorganic salts and 15 to 40 for organic chemicals total weight percent of the composition. A solvent is present in which the surfactant and chaotropic agent are dissolved. A method cleaning bug splatter debris from a transparent substrate, such as a windshield, is also provided. The composition is applied to bug splatter debris and the transparent substrate to solubilize the bug splatter debris. The composition and the bug splatter debris are then wiped from the transparent substrate.
Aqueous detergent compositions
The present invention is directed to a composition comprising about 0.01 wt % to about 0.5 wt % of a clay, and about 0.01 wt % to about 0.5 wt % of an external structuring agent which is a parenchymal cellulose material; the present invention is also directed to a liquid detergent composition, comprising from about 5 wt % to about 45 wt % of a surfactant, about 0.01 wt % to about 0.5 wt % of a clay, about 0.01 wt % to about 0.5 wt % of an external structuring agent which is a parenchymal cellulose material, and about 0.1 wt % to about 10 wt % of a builder component; and the present invention is further directed to methods of preparing the liquid detergent compositions; and the present invention is moreover directed to a fragrance composition, comprising about 0.1 wt % to about 10 wt % of an encapsulated fragrance component, about 0.01 wt % to about 0.5 wt % of a clay, and about 0.01 wt % to about 0.5 wt % of an external structuring agent.
METHOD FOR IN SITU MIXING OF LIQUID COMPOSITIONS WITH DYNAMIC FILLING PROFILES
Methods for in situ mixing of two or more different liquid compositions by employing a dynamic flow profile characterized by a ramping-up section and/or a ramping-down section.
HIGHLY-ACTIVE THREE-PHASE HEAVY-DUTY DETERGENT CLOTH AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The present invention discloses a three-phase heavy-duty laundry detergent wipe, a system comprising a three-phase heavy-duty laundry detergent wipe and a moistening device for manufacturing same and a method for manufacturing a three-phase heavy-duty laundry detergent wipe, wherein a dispersion (3) is applied to carrier material (4) which is solid at ambient temperature, characterized by the following steps: (a) providing a liquid laundry detergent lotion (1) with exothermically saponified components and a water content of 10-30 weight %; (b) adding solid additives (2) to the liquid laundry detergent lotion (1) using a disperser such that the dispersion (3)is created with a solid content of 1-10 weight %; (c) applying the dispersion to the carrier material (4) with a moistening device (5) such that the carrier material (4) statistically fixes the dispersion (3); wherein steps (a)-(c) are performed at ambient temperature and wherein the ratio between the average particle size of the solid additives (2) and the diameter and gap width, resp., of the openings of the moistening device (5) ranges between 5*10.sup.4:1 and 15*10.sup.4:1.
