Surfactant mixture comprising (i) 50%-99% C1 comprising for 100% of its weight: (a) 65%-90% of a compound R1-C(O)NHCH(COOH)(CH2CH2)-COOH, R1 represents C7-C17, (b) 10%-35% of a compound R1-C(O)OH (ii) 1%-50% C2 comprising for 100% of its weight: (c) 37.5%-100% R3-O-(G3)p-H, R3 represents C12-C16, G3 represents the residue of a reducing sugar, 1.05p5, (d) 0%-37.5% of an alcohol R3-OH, (e) 0%-12.5% of R4-O-(G4)q-H, R4 represents C4-C7, G4 represents the residue of a reducing sugar, 1.05q5, (f) 0%-12.5% of an alcohol R4-OH. Use of the surfactant mixture as constituent of a fire-fighting foam liquid. Method for extinguishing a fire.
Cleaning composition comprising a fatty alcohol mixture having high self-adhesion and providing residual benefits
A composition for treating a hard surface. The composition has: (a) at least one adhesion promoter; (b) at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of: anionic, non-ionic, cationic, amphoteric, zwitterionic, and combinations thereof; (c) mineral oil; (d) water; (e) optionally, at least one solvent; and wherein the composition is self-adhering upon application to a surface to be treated, and wherein the composition provides a wet film to said surface when water passes over said composition and surface.
Dynamic link monitoring to resolve imbalance in LAA/LTE radio resource allocation
A wireless communication device (UE) may monitor grants received from respective cells associated with one or more first (e.g. licensed) frequency band(s) and one or more second (e.g. unlicensed) frequency band(s). Based on the received grants the UE may determine if an imbalance exists in the radio resource allocation, whereby the UE communicates more than intended in the second frequency band(s). The imbalance may be specified with respect to the ratio or portion of the communications that are conducted in the second frequency band(s) with respect to all wireless communications of the UE. If the UE detects an imbalance, it may transmit a report to the network (e.g. to the base station serving the UE) indicating unfavorable conditions for the UE to be operating in the second frequency band(s). In response, the network may disable the respective cell(s) associated with the second frequency band(s) and/or it may disable carrier aggregation for the UE.
Cleansing bars with taurine
A cleansing bar composition comprising at least one cleanser chosen from soap and surfactant; taurine, in free or salt form; and one or more hydrophobic stabilizing agents. The hydrophobic stabilizing agent prevents the crystallization of taurine on the surface of the cleansing bar. Also methods of making the cleansing bar to inhibit crystallization of taurine in a cleansing bar.
Narrow range alcohol alkoxylates and derivatives thereof
The present invention relates generally to narrow range alcohol alkoxylates and derivatives thereof, such as alkyl ether sulfates.
CLEANING COMPOSITION THAT PROVIDES RESIDUAL BENEFITS
A composition for use on a hard surface. The composition has: (i) at least 7.5 wt. % of at least one surfactant selected; (ii) a blend of linear primary alcohols, or a blend of ethoxylated linear primary alcohols, wherein each alcohol of the non-ethoxylated blend or ethoxylated blend includes a carbon chain containing 9-17 carbons; (iii) a transport rate factor of less than about 55 seconds; and (iv) an adhesion time of greater than about 8 hours.
Lavatory Cleansing Block
A lavatory cleansing block including: an alkane sulfonate; a carboxymethylcellulose; a dye; and a hydrophobe; wherein the weight ratio of carboxymethylcellulose to dye in the block is 1.5:1 to 0.8:2 and wherein the block is substantially free of guar gum.
ACIDIC HARD SURFACE CLEANER WITH GLYCINE BETAINE ESTER
Cleaning compositions that include (a) a glycine betaine ester, (b) an acidifying agent, (c) polysaccharide thickener, and (d) water, are provided. Commonly, the glycine betaine ester may include one or more compounds of formula (I): Me.sub.3N.sup.+CH.sub.2C(0)-0-R X.sup. wherein R is an aliphatic group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and X represents an inorganic or organic anion. Commonly, the composition has a pH of no more than about 4, a viscosity of no more than about 1,500 cP at a shear rate of 10 at 25 C., and/or a viscosity of at least about 250 cP at a shear rate of 50 at 25 C. (where the viscosities are determined with a Brookfield Cone/Plate viscometer). The cleaning composition may exhibit a unique sheer thinning profile, such that the composition thins less after being sprayed onto a surface and thereby providing a longer contact time than conventional cleaning products.
USE OF AN IONIC LIQUID AND ALCOHOL BLEND TO MODIFY THE RHEOLOGY OF POLYETHOXYLATED ALCOHOL SULFATES
In one embodiment, a polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition is provided which includes a polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate, such as sodium laureth ether sulfate (SLES), water, an ionic liquid, and an alcohol. The ionic liquid and the alcohol form a synergistic blend, enabling a significant reduction of the viscosity of the polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition. Also provided is an embodiment of a method for modifying the rheology of polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate by use of an ionic liquid and alcohol blend. Finally provided is an embodiment of a detergent composition which is prepared by use of the polyethoxylated alcohol sulfate composition described herein, in addition to other commonly known ingredients.
FABRIC CONDITIONER COMPOSITIONS
A fabric conditioner formulation comprising a) 2 to 7.5 wt. % fabric softening active: and b) soil release polymer.
