A one-step method of cleaning a girth gear set of a mill in preparation for inspection is provided, the method comprising: substantially emptying the mill; inching the gear; spraying a low, very low or non-Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) cleaning formulation at high pressure onto the gear, the cleaning formulation comprising a non-VOC aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, an extreme pressure lubricant, a fretting wear lubricant, a non-ionic surfactant, and a mixture of non-VOC unsaturated fatty alcohols; and continuing to spray the low or very low VOC cleaning formulation on the gear for sufficient time for the formulation to clean the gear, thereby providing a so cleaned gear.

The water based adhesive removal composition is water-based formula, the water-based formula is not easy to volatilize and is not flammable. When being used to remove adhesive attached on the magnesium alloy component, there is no risk of magnesium ignition.

Solid composition comprising a polysaccharide and a hydrophobic compound, the process and use thereof

The present invention provides a solid composition comprising a polysaccharide and a hydrophobic compound having a melting point of between 30 C. and 90 C. The solid composition may further comprise a quaternary ammonium compound, wherein the weight ratio of the polysaccharide and the hydrophobic compound is between 1:50 and 50:1. Preferably, the solid composition is substantially free or completely free of water. The solid composition shows excellent stability at a temperature up to 45 C. The present invention also provides a process for preparing the solid composition and a liquid composition comprising said solid composition, and a method for conditioning a fabric by using said solid composition or said liquid composition as well.
