CLEANING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ALGINATE LYASE ENZYMES

A composition including an alginate lyase enzyme and cleaning adjunct. Methods of treating surfaces by contacting the surface with an aqueous wash liquor having the detergent composition therein.

INDUSTRIAL FERMENTATION PROCESS FOR BACILLUS USING TEMPERATURE SHIFT

The present invention relates to the field of industrial fermentation. In particular, it relates to a method for cultivating a Bacillus host cell comprising the steps of (a) inoculating a fermentation medium with a Bacillus host cell comprising an expression construct for a gene encoding a protein of interest, (b) cultivating for a first cultivation phase the Bacillus host cell in said fermentation medium under conditions conducive for the growth of the Bacillus host cell and the expression of the protein of interest, wherein the cultivation of the Bacillus host cell comprises the addition of at least one feed solution and wherein the cultivation during the first cultivation phase is carried out at a first temperature, and (c) cultivating for a second cultivation phase the Bacillus host cell culture obtained in step (b) under conditions conducive for the growth of the Bacillus host cell and the expression of the protein of interest, wherein the cultivation comprises the addition of at least one feed solution and wherein the cultivation during the second cultivation phase is carried out at a second temperature, said second temperature being higher than the first temperature. The invention also provides for a Bacillus host cell culture obtainable by the said method.

DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ENZYMES

Laundry detergent compositions can include an alginate lyase enzyme, nuclease enzyme, and anionic surfactant. Also included are methods of treating fabrics by contacting the fabric with an aqueous wash liquor having the laundry detergent composition which includes an alginate lyase enzyme, nuclease enzyme, and anionic surfactant.

Coatings containing polymer modified enzyme for stable self-cleaning of organic stains

Bioactive coatings that are stabilized against inactivation by weathering are provided including a base associated with a chemically modified enzyme, and, optionally a first polyoxyethylene present in the base and independent of the enzyme. The coatings are optionally overlayered onto a substrate to form an active coating facilitating the removal of organic stains or organic material from food, insects, or the environment.

COATINGS CONTAINING ENZYME FOR STABLE SELF-CLEANING OF ORGANIC STAINS

Bioactive coatings are provided with two component solvent borne resin and an enzyme dispersed therein. The unique coatings provide for enzyme dispersion in the two component solvent borne resin in aggregates with small particle sizes of up to 5 micrometers. The coatings are optionally overlayered onto a substrate to form an active coating facilitating the removal of organic stains or organic material from food, insects, or the environment.
