Implantable devices including conduits that have markings along the length of the conduit are described herein.

Prosthetic valve and prosthetic valve implanting method

A prosthetic valve, solving the technical problem of an existing prosthetic valve, when implanted in a certain valve site, not being adaptive to the physiological anatomy condition of the heart, being difficult to mount and fix properly and being easy to become displaced, and consequently affecting the function of the valve. The prosthetic valve comprises an annular frame (2) which has a mesh structure and can radially expand to deform; a connection line (10) is provided on the frame (2); the prosthetic valve is connected and fixed to an anatomical structure of a mounting position of a human body by means of the connection line (10); the connection line (10) surrounds the outside of the frame (2) to form several connection portions which extend out along the radial direction of the frame (2); the space surrounded by the connection portions can receive the thickness of the anatomical structure. The prosthetic valve is connected and fixed by means of the connection line (10) to an anatomical structure of a mounting position in a human body, e.g. a vessel wall, being mounted stably and being applicable to a patient on whom a valve replacement surgery is difficult to perform, e.g. a pulmonary artery stenosis patient.

Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that include a valved conduit. The valved conduit may include a frame element arranged within the conduit and one or more expansion elements configured to spread apart to radially expand the frame.

Segmented, growth-accommodating, artificial valve

According to various aspects and embodiments, a prosthetic valve assembly for controlling fluid flow in an annulus is provided. The prosthetic valve assembly includes a suture ring formed from two or more segments, where each segment is configured to attach to the annulus, and a leaflet subassembly that attaches to an inner portion of at least one segment of the suture ring. The leaflet subassembly includes at least one leaflet configured for controlling a flow of fluid through the prosthetic valve assembly.

PATENT DUCTUS ARTERIOSUS STENT
20220175561 · 2022-06-09 ·

A retrievable stent configured to be positioned across the ductus arteriosus in a pediatric human patient to keep the ductus arteriosus open and ensure adequate blood flow is described. The retrievable stent can include a plurality of 4 to 8 struts that extend from a proximal end connector to a distal end tip, each having a curved proximal strut end, a curved distal strut end and an elongated strut body portion that extends from the curved proximal strut end to the curved distal strut end. When the stent is positioned in the ductus arteriosus, the curved proximal strut ends and the curved distal strut ends engage the ductus arteriosus to provide the radial force necessary to keep the ductus arteriosus open while the elongated strut body portions minimally engage the ductus arteriosus to prevent invagination into the vascular wall and thus allow for subsequent retrieval.

Compact prosthetic heart valve device

The devices and methods of this disclosure relate to a heart valve prosthesis that is configured to be implanted within a native heart valve having a smaller perimeter annuli with a generally elliptical shape.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR EFFECTUATING PERCUTANEOUS SHUNT PROCEDURES

In some implementations, a radially self-expanding endograft prosthesis is provided that includes (i) distal flange that is self-expanding and configured to flip generally perpendicularly with respect to a body of the prosthesis to help seat the prosthesis against a tissue wall, (ii) a distal segment extending proximally from the distal flange that has sufficient stiffness to maintain a puncture open that is formed through a vessel wall (iii) a compliant middle segment extending proximally from the distal segment, the middle segment being more compliant than the distal segment, and having independently movable undulating strut rings attached to a tubular fabric, the combined structure providing flexibility and compliance to allow for full patency while flexed, the segment being configured to accommodate up to a 90 degree bend, (iv) a proximal segment having a plurality of adjacent undulating strut rings that are connected to each other.

TRANSCATHETER AND SERIALLY-EXPANDABLE ARTIFICIAL HEART VALVE

Some embodiments are directed to a transcatheter and serially-expandable artificial heart valve, e.g., to be minimally-invasively implanted into a pediatric patient during a first procedure, and then expanded during a second procedure to accommodate for the pediatric patient's growth. Some embodiments include an expandable frame having a compressed, delivery configuration, and an expanded, deployed configuration, in which the valve is implantable within the patient. The valve can have a first working condition when the frame is expanded to a first diameter and a second working condition when the frame is expanded to a second diameter greater than the first diameter. The valve can include a plurality of leaflets configured to accommodate the expansion of the frame and growth of the patient.

REINFORCED REGENERATIVE HEART VALVES

Devices and methods for reinforcing a regenerative heart valve are provided. A reinforcing element can provide structure and rigidity to withstand stresses that occur within the aortic root. In some instances, a support ring is attached to a regenerative heart valve. In some instances, a tubular wall is provided surrounding a regenerative heart valve.
