STABILIZER, POLYMER POLYOL PREPARED USING STABILIZER AND METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYMER POLYOL
Disclosed is a polymer polyol stabilizer, prepared by reacting: a polyol having a hydroxyl value of 5 to 100 mgKOH/g and containing ethylene oxide in an amount of 50 wt % or more; and a reactive unsaturated compound having one or more carbon-carbon double bonds and two or more carbon-oxygen double bonds, a polymer polyol polymerized by comprising the polymer polyol stabilizer, and a method for preparing the polymer polyol.
BREATHABLE AND WATERPROOF FILM
A breathable and waterproof film is fabricated by spinning and processing an electrospinning solution, in which the electrospinning solution includes a first additive and a second additive. The first additive includes a nylon copolymer and a first alcohol solvent. The second additive is prepared by a reaction of a composition in a second alcohol solvent, in which the composition includes a polysiloxane diol, a diol, and an isocyanate, and the diol includes an alkyl diol, a polyester diol, or a combination thereof.
Impact resistant garment
An impact resistant textile-supported garment, or component thereof, comprises a fabric layer, and (i) at least five non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments upon an outer surface of the fabric layer, wherein at least two of the non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments has a depth of at least 3 mm, preferably at least 4 mm, and wherein at least five of the plurality of non-interconnected segments have dimensions smaller than 1.75 cm1 cm1 cm; or (ii) at least one non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segment, wherein the at least one segment has a depth of at least 3 mm at its deepest part, and wherein the at least one segment is a hollow segment comprising one or more regions defined by an outer polyurethane perimeter, surrounding a region of fabric that is not covered by polyurethane.
SOLVENT-FREE POLYURETHANE LIQUID MEMBRANE
The present disclosure relates to a two-component composition containing a polymer polyol, a dial chain extender, an aldimine of formula (I), optionally additional polyols and diphenylmethandiisocyanates in the two components. The composition is particularly suitable as a manually applicable solvent-free liquid film for coating and/or sealing floors and roofs. It also has a long open time, cures quickly and without complications in a wide temperature and humidity range, has a high level of strength and is weather resistant.
WATERBORNE POLYURETHANE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF, AND WATERBORNE SCRATCH-OFF INK AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Provided are a waterborne polyurethane (WPU) and a preparation method thereof, and a waterborne scratch-off ink and a preparation method thereof. A chain end group or side group of the WPU contains a longer alkyl chain. When the WPU is used in the preparation of the waterborne scratch-off ink, microphase separation may occur during the film-forming process owing to a hydrophobic/hydrophilic interaction between the non-polar long-chain alkyl and polar groups in WPU molecular, resulting in an incomplete film structure, which is beneficial to make the ink be scratched off.
DURABLE OMNIPHOBIC ELASTOMERIC COATINGS AND METHODS FOR PREPARING THE SAME
A durable solid and liquid repellant material is provided having an elastomeric matrix with a plurality of lubricating domains distributed therein formed by a partial crosslinking reaction between an elastomeric precursor having a first reactive functional group and a polyol having a second reactive functional group. The polyol has a limited solubility circle. The first reactive functional group is selected from the group consisting of: alkene, amine, carboxylic acid, hydroxyl, isocyanate, and combinations thereof and the second reactive group is selected from the group consisting of: amine, carboxylic acid, hydroxyl group, and combinations thereof. The partially crosslinked elastomeric matrix has a crosslink density of greater than or equal to about 200 mol/m3 and less than or equal to about 2,000 mol/m3. Methods for forming the durable solid and liquid repellant material are also provided.
Solvent for aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acids
A method for preparing an acid solution by contacting at least one aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acid with at least one polyether having blocked hydroxyl groups as a solvent. The polyether having blocked hydroxyl groups is not volatile and exhibits a surprisingly high dissolving capacity for the aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acid. The acid solution is very compatible in curable compositions and does not cause any emission or odor or migration effects. The acid solution is particularly suitable as a constituent of polyurethane compositions having latent curing agents for accelerating the hydrolysis of the latent reactive groups.
Solvent-borne polyurethane adhesives with high molecular weight, high OH content and low solution viscosity
An adhesive composition includes a polyurethane polymer, a solvent and a co-solvent. The polyurethane polymer is an internally and/or externally hydrophilized thermoplastic polyurethane having an Mw of 50000 g/mol. The solvent is a polar-aprotic solvent. The co-solvent is selected from water, a primary alcohol having 10 carbon atoms, a vicinal diol or a mixture of at least two of the aforementioned compounds. The solvent and the co-solvent are present in such amounts that they form a homogenous mixture without the formation of a second phase when combined together at 20 C. The hydroxyl group content is 1 weight-%, based on the total weight of the composition. The polyurethane polymer content is 10 weight-%, based on the total weight of the composition and the composition forms a single continuous liquid phase. Examples for solvent/co-solvent combinations are methylethyl ketone (MEK) and water or MEK and ethanol.
ONE-COMPONENT BURN-IN SYSTEM
The invention relates to a one-component burn-in system comprising A) a blocked polyisocyanate component containing at least one reaction product of a) at least one polyisocyanate component, which has at least isocyanurate and/or iminooxadiazinedione structures, b) at least one branched aliphatic diole, and c) at least one secondary amine with aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, and/or araliphatic substituents, wherein the component b) is used in a quantity of more than 2 wt. % based on the total quantity of the components a) and b), and the component c) is used in a quantity which corresponds to at least 95 mol. % of the isocyanate groups mathematically still present after the reaction of the components a) and b), B) at least one binder which is reactive to isocyanate groups and comprises at least two isocyanate-reactive groups per molecule on statistical average, C) optionally catalysts, and D) optionally solvents and/or optionally auxiliary agents and additives.
