The present disclosure provides a two-component solventless adhesive composition comprising a polyol component and an isocyanate component. The polyol component comprises a phosphate functional compound, and at least one polyol selected from polyester, polyether, and the combination thereof; and the isocyanate component comprises isocyanate prepolymer that is the reaction product of at least one isocyanate monomer and at least one polyol selected from polyester, polyether, and the combination thereof.

Storage-stable polyurethane potting compound for embedding of hollow fibres in the production of filter elements
Polyurethane encapsulating compounds for the embedding of hollow fibers of filter elements are provided. These are obtainable by mixing a polyol component (A) and an isocyanate component (B) to give a reaction mixture and reacting the mixture to completion to give the polyurethane encapsulating compound, wherein the polyol component (A) comprises (a1) at least one fatty-acid-based polyol, (a2) at least one amine compound having at least one tertiary nitrogen atom and at least one isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atom and (a3) at least one metal compound that functions as a polyurethane catalyst, wherein the polyurethane catalyst (a3) does not comprise any tin, lead and/or mercury and the isocyanate component (B) comprises at least one aromatic isocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups. Further provided is a method for producing filter elements using the polyurethane encapsulating compounds and the use of the polyurethane encapsulating compounds for the embedding of hollow fibers.

An aqueous coating composition includes: i) an aqueous dispersion of a hydroxyl functional acrylic polymer; ii) a urethane component; iii) a hydroxyl reactive crosslinking agent different from component ii); and iv) an aqueous liquid carrier. The coating composition has a volatile organic (VOC) content of less than 420 g/L, and may be applied to a side seam strip or a side seam of a three-piece can.
Multi-Layer Coatings and Methods of Preparing the Same
A multi-layer coating system includes: (a) a first basecoat layer formed from a first coating composition including a free polyisocyanate and hydroxyl functional polymeric core-shell particles; (b) a second basecoat layer applied over at least a portion of the first basecoat layer, the second basecoat layer formed from a second coating composition including carboxylic acid functional polymeric core-shell particles; and (c) a topcoat layer applied over at least a portion of the second basecoat layer, the topcoat layer formed from a coating composition including least one free polyisocyanate having a weight average molecular weight of less than 600 g/mol and at least one film-forming resin in which an amount of free polyisocyanate having a weight average molecular weight of less than 600 g/mol is greater than 5 weight %, based on the total resin solids of the coating composition that forms the topcoat layer.
IONICALLY HYDROPHILIZED POLYISOCYANATES WITH IMPROVED DRYING
The invention relates to a polyisocyanate mixture comprising a polyisocyanate component A) having aliphatically and/or cycloaliphatically bonded isocyanate groups and a polyisocyanate component B) having araliphatically and/or aromatically bonded isocyanate groups, characterized in that the polyisocyanate component A) comprises at least 0.85% by weight of sulfonate groups (calculated as SO.sub.3; molar weight=80 g/mol) in chemically bonded form and the proportion of the polyisocyanate component B) is 7 to 43% by weight of the total amount of the components A) and B). The invention further relates to the use thereof and also coating compositions comprising the polyisocyanate mixture and also the substrates coated with these coating compositions.
Hybrid polymers
The present invention pertains to a polyurethane fluoropolymer [polymer (F.sub.p)] obtainable by reacting: (i) at least one fluoropolymer [polymer (F)] comprising one or more recurring units derived from at least one (meth)acrylic monomer [monomer (MA)] having formula (I) here below: wherein: R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, equal to or different from each other, are independently selected from a hydrogen atom and a C.sub.1-C.sub.3 hydrocarbon group, R.sub.H is a C.sub.1-C.sub.10 hydrocarbon group comprising from 1 to 5 hydroxyl groups, x being an integer comprised between 1 and 5, and, optionally, comprising one or more functional groups selected from double bonds, epoxy, ester, ether and carboxylic acid groups, with (ii) at least one isocyanate compound comprising at least one isocyanate functional group [compound (I)], (iii) optionally in the presence of one or more chain extenders, said polyurethane fluoropolymer [polymer (F.sub.p)] comprising at least one bridging group having formula (a) here below: wherein: R.sub.H is a C.sub.1-C.sub.5 hydrocarbon group comprising from 1 to 5 urethane moieties, x being an integer comprised between 1 and 5, and, optionally, comprising one or more functional groups selected from double bonds, epoxy, ester, ether and carboxylic acid groups. The invention also pertains to a process for the manufacture of said polymer (F.sub.p) and to uses of said polymer (F.sub.p). ##STR00001##
