POLYCARBONATE, METHOD FOR PREPARING THEREOF, AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A polycarbonate, a preparation method thereof, and an application thereof are provided. First, an ureido-pyrimidinone type diisocyanate is prepared by a first compound and a second compound. Then, a third compound and the ureido-pyrimidinone type diisocyanate are reacted to obtain a polycarbonate. The polycarbonate replaces scratch resistant metal material to avoid the disadvantages of the signal shielding, heavy weight, and static electricity when using the scratch resistant metal material in the winter. The body housing is made of polycarbonate can have a self-healing property and a good heat resistance, so the internal components can be well protected.
High removal rate chemical mechanical polishing pads and methods of making
A chemical mechanical polishing pad for polishing a semiconductor substrate is provided containing a polishing layer that comprises a polyurethane reaction product of a reaction mixture comprising (i) one or more diisocyanate, polyisocyanate or polyisocyanate prepolymer, (ii) from 40 to 85 wt. % based on the total weight of (i) and (ii) of one or more blocked diisocyanate, polyisocyanate or polyisocyanate prepolymer which contains a blocking agent and has a deblocking temperature of from 80 to 160 C., and (iii) one or more aromatic diamine curative. The reaction mixture has a gel time at 80 C. and a pressure of 101 kPa of from 2 to 15 minutes; the polyurethane reaction product has a residual blocking agent content of 2 wt. % or less; and the polishing layer exhibits a density of from 0.6 to 1.2 g/cm.sup.3.

A nonaqueous coating material composition and a coating produced from the coating material composition are provided. The coating material composition contains at least one polyhydroxyl group-containing component, at least one polyisocyanate group-containing component, at least one catalyst, and at least one urethane additive (PF) which has specific groups. The urethane additive (PF) is prepared by reacting 0.5 to 20 mol % of the isocyanate groups originally present in a polyisocyanate (PI) with a component (Ia) and 10 to 99.5 mol % of the isocyanate groups originally present in the polyisocyanate (PI) with a component (IIa). The component (Ia) contains at least one perfluoroalkyl group of a specific formula and one group reactive toward the isocyanate groups. The component (IIa) contains at least one silane group of a specific formula and one group reactive toward the isocyanate groups.

This invention provides a polymer thick film electrically conductive paste composition, comprising conductive metal powder, a resin blend of polyol and phenoxy resin, blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate and one or more polar, aprotic solvents. In one embodiment the paste composition is used to form electrically conductive adhesive. In another embodiment the paste composition is used to form an electrically conductive polymer thick film.

An object of the present invention is to provide a laminated polyester film that has good adhesion to an UV-curable resin, particularly has excellent adhesion to a coating agent such as an UV-curable ink, and has an excellent property to keep the adhesion at a high level over a long period of time. A laminated polyester film comprising: a polyester film; and a coating layer on at least one surface of the polyester film, the coating layer comprising a composition containing a polyurethane resin having a carboxyl group and having an acid value of 30 to 50 mgKOH/g and a crosslinking agent having a carboxyl group and having an acid value of 30 to 50 mgKOH/g.
Method for producing aqueous carbodiimide-containing liquid
The present invention provides a method for producing an aqueous carbodiimide having excellent crosslinking reactivity with a crosslinking group, such as an alcoholic hydroxy group of an aqueous resin. The method for producing an aqueous carbodiimide-containing liquid includes a step (1) of mixing an isocyanate group-containing carbodiimide (A), a terminal blocking agent, and at least one organic metal compound selected from an organic titanium compound, an organic zirconium compound, and an organic aluminum compound and allowing them to react with each other, to obtain a terminal-blocked carbodiimide (B) in which the isocyanate group is blocked with the terminal blocking agent; and a step (2) of dissolving or dispersing the terminal-blocked carbodiimide (B) in an aqueous solvent, to obtain an aqueous carbodiimide-containing liquid, wherein the terminal blocking agent contains a hydrophilic compound (X) having a functional group having reactivity with the isocyanate group and a hydrophilic group other than the functional group.
TWO-COMPONENT POLYURETHANE STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE WITH IMPROVED PROPERTIES
A PU2K structural adhesive composition comprising an NCO component and a hardener component. The NCO component and hardener component each comprise from 0.1% to 40% by weight of a thixotropic composition (A) comprising a bis-urea obtained by reaction of a primary aliphatic amine with a diisocyanate, in suspension in a continuous phase consisting of a plasticizer chosen from an alkyl phthalate and pentaerythritol tetravalerate; and at least one component, among the NCO component and hardener component, comprises from 5% to 40% by weight of alumina. The structural adhesive is used in the field of construction, the manufacture of transportation means, preferably of the motor vehicle, rail and aerospace industries, and shipbuilding.

The invention relates to a process for producing polyisocyanates containing sulfonate groups, the products obtainable by said process and also to the use thereof as starting component for producing polyurethane plastics. Polymerized in-situ hybrid solid ion-conductive compositions
Provided herein are methods of forming solid-state ionically conductive composite materials that include particles of an inorganic phase in a matrix of an organic phase. The methods involve forming the composite materials from a precursor that is polymerized in-situ after being mixed with the particles. The polymerization occurs under applied pressure that causes particle-to-particle contact. In some embodiments, once polymerized, the applied pressure may be removed with the particles immobilized by the polymer matrix. In some implementations, the organic phase includes a cross-linked polymer network. Also provided are solid-state ionically conductive composite materials and batteries and other devices that incorporate them. In some embodiments, solid-state electrolytes including the ionically conductive solid-state composites are provided. In some embodiments, electrodes including the ionically conductive solid-state composites are provided.
