The present invention relates to a 2-component system containing at least one specific N-, S-, O- and Si-containing compound. The invention further relates to a process for preparing silicon-containing polyurethanes, comprising reacting the first component with the second component of the 2-component system according to the present invention, and to the silicon-containing polyurethanes obtained therefrom. In addition, the invention relates to the use of the 2-component system according to the present invention for the production of coating, sealants or adhesives.

The invention relates to a polyurea compound, which can be produced by reacting a polyisocyanate with a dialkoxy amino silane according to general formula R.sup.1(R.sup.1O).sub.2Si(CH.sub.2).sub.mNHR.sup.2 and optionally also with a trialkoxy amino silane according to general formula (R.sup.1O).sub.3Si(CH.sub.2).sub.nNHR.sup.2 wherein the groups R.sup.1 are selected independently from one another from C.sub.1-C.sub.20-alkyl or C.sub.6-C.sub.20-aryl, n and m are each whole numbers between 1 and 4, the groups R.sup.2 are selected independently from one another from —H, C.sub.1-C.sub.2O-alkyl, C3-C12-cycloalkyl, and —CHR.sup.3CH.sub.2COOR.sup.4, the groups R.sup.3 are selected independently from one another from H, C.sub.1-C.sub.20-alkyl and —COOR.sup.4, and the groups R.sup.4 represent C.sub.1-C.sub.20-alkyl independently from one another. The invention also relates to the use of the compound as a binder for producing coatings.
AMPHIPHILIC SILOXANE-POLYURETHANE FOULING-RELEASE COATINGS
The invention relates to a curable coating composition comprising at least one surface modifying amphiphilic additive and at least one amphiphilic siloxane-polyurethane coating composition. The invention also relates to methods of making and using the curable coating composition of the invention. The invention also relates to methods for reducing or preventing biofouling of a surface exposed to an aqueous environment comprising the use of the curable coating composition of the invention.
URETHANE-BASED ADHESIVE FOR AUTOMOBILE
The present invention provides an adhesive composition which is a primerless urethane-based adhesive and has high adhesive force with respect to a polyolefin-based resin. An adhesive composition according to the present invention is a two-liquid type urethane-based adhesive composition comprising: a main agent which comprises (A) a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group at the end thereof, (B) a polyfunctional isocyanate compound having an alkoxysilyl group which can be obtained through a reaction of a silane compound having at least two alkoxysilyl groups in one molecule and a polyisocyanate having an isocyanate group at the end thereof and (C1) a first curing catalyst; and a curing agent which comprises (D) a hydrophobic polyol and (C2) a second curing catalyst.
Two-Part Curable Urethane Adhesive Composition
The present technology provides a two-part curable urethane adhesive composition including: a main agent (A) containing a urethane prepolymer (a); and a curing agent (B) containing a compound having two or more active hydrogen groups per molecule (b); wherein the compound having active hydrogen groups (b) includes a tri- or higher functional polyol compound with a molecular weight of 1000 or less (b1); and one or both of the main agent (A) and the curing agent (B) further contain a terpene oligomer (x).
