Stabilization of chymosin by polymers
A liquid or dried granulated milk clotting aspartic protease enzyme composition and process for isolating a milk clotting aspartic protease enzyme of interest.
COMPOSITION OF COLLAGEN PEPTIDE AND ELASTIN PEPTIDE, METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME AND USE THEREOF
Disclosed is a composition of a collagen peptide and an elastin peptide, method of producing the same and use thereof. The composition of the present disclosure consists of a collagen peptide and an elastin peptide; the collagen peptide is prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis of a collagen material with pepsin or trypsin, and the elastin peptide is prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis of an elastin material with papain and/or protease Protamex. In the present disclosure, an elastin peptide and a collagen peptide with molecular weight in a specific range are prepared by specific processes, and the composition composed of the two at a suitable ratio can simultaneously and significantly increase the amount of the elastin and collagen in a damaged skin in a small usage amount, and significantly increase the content of hyaluronic acid and hydroxyproline while decrease the content of MMP3, meanwhile, inhibit skin inflammatory factors.
METHOD FOR PREPARING NON-DENATURED TYPE II COLLAGEN
Embodiments provide a method for preparing non-denatured type II collagen and a product thereof. In the embodiments, chicken breast cartilage is adopted as raw material, through the steps of selecting materials, cleaning, pulverizing, hydrolyzing by enzyme, drying, pulverizing, sieving, etc., the product with a water absorption ratio 10-13 times, a volume expansion ratio 5-7 times, a natural long-chain structure of non-denatured type II collagen retained, and the protein having a content not less than 15% is obtained. Under the premise of improving the content, water absorption and volume expansion coefficient of the non-denatured type II collagen, the product containing the non-denatured type II collagen prepared by the present disclosure has the advantages of fast extraction process and good suspension performance of the product solution, and has good market application prospects.
LABELED GLYCAN AMINO ACID COMPLEXES USEFUL IN LC-MS ANALYSIS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Provided herein are methodologies where a glycosylated protein or peptide is subjected to peptide bond cleavage to produce a glycan amino acid complex wherein the N-linked or O-linked glycan is attached. A derivatization reagent is then attached to the N terminus of the amino acid to provide a labeled glycan amino acid complex. The labeled glycan amino acid complex is then separated from the matrix via one or more methods including HILIC SPE, and injected directly onto an LC or LC/MS system for analysis, detection and characterization of the glycosylated protein or the peptide.
CANOLA MEAL EXTRACTS FOR MICROBIAL FERMENTATION
The disclosure relates to canola meal extracts (CMEs), and methods of making said CMEs. Also provided herein are compositions and culture media comprising said CMEs and use of said CMEs, compositions, and culture media for microbial fermentation across a broad class of microbes. The disclosure further relates to use of said CMEs and compositions as a partial or complete replacement for other organic extracts such as yeast extract.
MILK CLOTTING ASPARTIC PROTEASE ENZYME COMPOSITION
A liquid or dried granulated milk clotting aspartic protease enzyme composition comprising added polypeptides/proteins. The polypeptides/proteins may be animal-derived (e.g. whey, lactalbumin, transferrin, casein, ovalbumin, gelatin, blood), vegetable-derived (soy, pea, corn, potato, hemp, rice, wheat, peanut, sun flower, rape seed) or algae proteins (e.g. spirulina). Addition of protein in several instances increases activity of the enzyme and simultaneously improves physical stability.
Compositions comprising digestive enzymes
Provided herein are compositions with enhanced protein specific activity, protein combinations and methods for the preparation thereof.
METHODS FOR DECELLULARIZING HUMAN OMENTUM AND PRODUCTS GENERATED THEREFROM
A composition is disclosed which comprises solubilized decellularized omentum. Uses thereof and methods of generating same are also disclosed.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING DIGESTIVE ENZYMES
Provided herein are compositions with enhanced protein specific activity, protein combinations and methods for the preparation thereof.
