PLANT PROMOTER FOR TRANSGENE EXPRESSION
This disclosure concerns compositions and methods for promoting transcription of a nucleotide sequence in a plant or plant cell, employing a promoter from a Panicum virgatum (Pavir.J00490) egg cell gene. Some embodiments relate to a promoter from a Panicum virgatum (Pavir.J00490) egg cell gene that functions in plants to promote transcription of operably linked nucleotide sequences. Other embodiments relate to a 3 UTR from a Panicum virgatum (Pavir.J00490) egg cell gene that functions in plants to promote transcription of operably linked nucleotide sequences.
INCREASING GENE EDITING AND SITE-DIRECTED INTEGRATION EVENTS UTILIZING DEVELOPMENTAL PROMOTERS
This disclosure provides methods and compositions for increasing genome editing and site-directed integration events utilizing guided endonucleases and floral cell-preferred or floral tissue-preferred promoters.
Hybrid caulimovirus promoters and constructs thereof
The present invention relates to novel hybrid promoters comprising a caulimovirus promoter operably linked to one or more of an EF1, Act8, Act2 or Act11 promoter. The present invention also relates to novel DNA constructs comprising at least one expression cassette which comprises the hybrid promoter thereof. The present invention further relates to transgenic plants/seeds comprising such DNA constructs.
