Device for moving a load
A device for moving a load is provided. The device includes a platform defining a surface and an edge extending downward therefrom. The device further includes two pairs of opposing legs each defining a top portion pivotally engaged with the platform interior of the edge, wherein each pair of legs has an extended position where each leg extends away from the edge. Each pair of legs further includes a collapsed position where the top portion of each leg extends substantially parallel and interior to the edge, a middle portion of each leg extends through a corresponding slot defined by the edge, and a bottom portion of each leg extends substantially parallel and exterior to the edge.
Mattress with patient restraint stored inside
A patient restraining device is secured to a patient supporting structure, such as an ambulance cot, to more safely support a person's body during transport from one place to another. The device includes at least one sheet of fabric and connectors secured to the fabric. With the device fastened to an ambulance cot, either directly or via the ambulance cot mattress, a person is positioned on the cot mattress, and then the fabric is wrapped about the person's body, and the connectors are secured about the person's body. Among other things, the device may be used to stabilize the abdominal mass of a bariatric patient, and thereby safely increase the effective “patient capacity” of an otherwise conventional ambulance cot. When not in use, the device is stored in one or more storage cavities defined by the ambulance cot mattress.

Convertible vehicle door emergency removal device
A convertible vehicle door emergency removal device comprising a pair of door members, a stretcher frame member and a pad member. The door members each include a first door member and a second door member and each door member is removably attached to a corresponding vehicle door frame for opening and closing. Each door member includes a pair of mating hinges for attachment to one another and a pair of strap handles for transporting a stretcher frame member. The stretcher frame member is formed by attaching the pair of door members to one another after each door member is removed from a corresponding door frame. The pair of door members are attached to one another by connecting the mating hinges to one another. The stretcher frame member is configured to receive an occupant for transporting. The pad member overlays a top surface of the stretcher frame member. Moreover, the pad member is inflatable and includes an inflatable cushion for providing cushion support to an injured region of the occupant.

Rescue harness with protective drag sheet
A stretcher including a flexible base panel sized to support a person lying thereon during a rescue or extrication operation. The base panel includes a header end and an opposite footer end, and further includes a support mat resting on the base panel between the header and footer ends. The stretcher further includes a stability strap coupled to the base panel and fixedly attached to the rear surface of the support mat, the stability strap operable to retain the support mat in position against the flexible panel during use. The rescue stretcher may further include a pair of shoulder straps and leg straps fixedly coupled to the support mat for securing the person to the base panel. A securement strap may be coupled to the base panel and extend across the flexible base panel to help prevent the injured person from rolling off the sides of the stretcher.

VEHICLE EXTRACTION DEVICE
A softgoods seat covering convertible into vehicle extraction device for immobilizing a patient while still seated in the seat of a vehicle, and for safe extraction and transport thereafter. The device uses a plurality of inflatable panels enclosed within a woven cover and connected together by inflation tubing to an inflator for simultaneous or sequential inflation. In normal, pre-blast operations, the durable, uninflated device simply acts as the outer fabric of the seat back and seat cushion, with deployable structures folded/tucked behind the seat back and under the seat pan. Upon arrival of the medic, sections of the device are sequentially deployed through inflation and secured around the patient by wraparound straps to immobilize the patient in the sitting position, and to facilitate extraction and removal in a supine position. The device is intended to mitigate injuries/casualties caused by exposure to landmine or IED blasts.
