There is provided a patient transport apparatus. The apparatus includes a height-adjustable assembly having a longitudinal axis. The apparatus includes a brake cable. The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and includes a slack portion. The apparatus includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.

Disclosed is a toilet chair (1) comprising a chair back (2) including a head part (3) and a bottom part (4) and a seat (5) comprising a front part (6) and a rear part (8), wherein the seat (5) further comprises a toilet opening (7) through which a user may go to the toilet. An input control valve is selectively operable to allow water flow through first or second output conduits to a directional valve or through a third output conduit to establish a water temperature test mode. A multi-purpose wheelchair is disclosed herein. The wheelchair comprises a tubular frame having two support members pivotally mounted and extending upwardly from the tubular frame. The wheelchair also comprises four legs pivotally mounted and extending downwardly from the tubular frame. A patient transport apparatus includes a height-adjustable assembly having a longitudinal axis, and a brake assembly comprising a brake cable. The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and a slack portion. The patient transport apparatus further includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.

A recliner chair bed includes a first frame, a second frame, a backrest, and a leg rest. The first frame has front and rear ends. The second frame fits comfortably and moves telescopically inside and outside of the first frame. The leg rest is attached to the front end of the first frame. The backrest is attached to the rear end of the first frame. The independent movement of the back and leg rests helps in achieving desired position for comfort. The recliner chair bed provides stability, can be moved on to any fixtures such as furniture and toilet and also can be converted into a bed.

A tilting mechanism for a chair that has a seat frame, a seat and a chair back. The tilting mechanism has a track path along which the seat tracks between an upright sitting position and a reclined position. The chair back tracks concurrently between a first position when the seat is in the upright sitting position and a second inclined position when the seat is in the reclined position. The inclination of the chair back increases at a greater rate than the inclination of the seat as the seat moves between the upright sitting position and the reclined position.

An arrangement for a passenger carrying aircraft including a passenger cabin, an aisle extending in a longitudinal direction of the cabin, passenger seats positioned along opposing sides of the aisle, and an aisle track system disposed along the aisle, the aisle track system including spaced first and second floor tracks extending in a longitudinal direction of the aisle adapted to engage with an object adapted to be conveyed down the aisle or a carriage for conveying an object down the aisle. The aisle track system may extend into a lavatory or lateral tracks intersecting the aisle track system may extend into a lavatory such that a wheelchair can travel down the aisle into the lavatory while remaining secured to the system tracks and deck.
