CATALYST AND PREPARATION THEREOF
The present invention relates to a process for producing a solid Ziegler-Natta catalyst component in the form of solid particles having a median particle size (D50.sub.vol) of 5 to 500 .Math.m and the process comprising steps I. providing a solution of a Group 2 metal dihalide (1UPAC, Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry, 2005) by dissolving a solid Group 2 metal dihalide in an alcohol mixture comprising at least a monohydric alcohol (A1) of formula ROM, where R is selected from a hydrocarbyl group of 3 to 16 C atoms and an alcohol (A2) comprising in addition to the hydroxyl group another oxygen containing functional group not being a hydroxyl group, contacting the solution of the Group 2 metal dihalide of step I with a compound in a liquid form of a transition metal of Group 4 to 10, or of a lanthanide or actinide, preferably a transition metal of Group 4 to 6 of Periodic Table (1UPAC, Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry, 2005), and III. recovering the solid catalyst component, wherein the amount of Group 2 metal originating from Group 2 metal dihalide constitutes 100 % of the whole amount of the Group 2 metal used in the process for producing the solid Ziegler-Natta catalyst component.

A polyethylene composition made from or containing a polyethylene, having the following features: 1) a density from about 0.930 to about 0.945 g/cm.sup.3, determined according to ISO 1183 at 23° C.; 2) a ratio of MIF/MIP from about 30 to about 55; 3) a MIF from about 3 to about 25 g/10 min.; 4) a Mz equal to or greater than about 1,500,000 g/mol; and 5) a long-chain branching index, LCBI, equal to or lower than about 0.55, wherein the LCBI is the ratio of the measured mean-square radius of gyration R.sub.g, measured by GPC-MALLS, to the mean-square radius of gyration for a linear PE having about the same molecular weight of 1,000,000 g/mol.

CATALYST FOR PROPYLENE POLYMERIZATION, CATALYST SYSTEM FOR PROPYLENE POLYMERIZATION, AND PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a catalyst for propylene polymerization, a catalyst system for propylene polymerization and preparation and use thereof. The catalyst for propylene polymerization comprises: an activated magnesium halide, a titanium compound supported on the activated magnesium halide containing at least one Ti-halogen bond, and an internal electron donor compound selected from one or more of compounds having a structure of below Formula (1), wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.6 are each independently selected from a C.sub.1-C.sub.12 straight or branched alkyl, a C.sub.3-C.sub.15 cycloalkyl or aryl, and R′ is H, a C.sub.1-C.sub.5 straight or branched alkyl, or phenyl; R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, and R.sub.5 are each independently selected from H, halogen, a C.sub.1-C.sub.12 straight or branched alkyl, a C.sub.3-C.sub.8 cycloalkyl, a C.sub.6-C.sub.15 aryl, or arylalkyl. The present invention can provide a catalyst showing high polymerization reaction activity and excellent stereospecificity, by applying a novel type of internal electron donor.

The present invention relates to a catalyst for propylene polymerization, a catalyst system for propylene polymerization and preparation and use thereof. Propylene-based terpolymers for films
A terpolymer containing propylene, ethylene and an alpha olefins of formula CH2=CHZ wherein Z is an hydrocarbon group having from 2 to 10 carbon atoms wherein: (i) the content of ethylene derived units ranges from 0.5 wt % to 5.0 wt %; (ii) the content of alpha olefin derived units ranges from 1.0 wt % to 5.0 wt %; (iii) the area of the DSC curve after the peak of the melting point (Tm) represents more than 22%; of the total area of the DSC curve; (iv) the polydispersity index (PI) ranges from 2.0 to 7.0.
