SELF LEVELING VACUUM CLEANER SYSTEM, DEVICE AND METHOD
The present invention is a system, device, and method for use of a steerable tractor powered unit (STPU) comprising a vacuum cleaner mounted to a self-leveling platform coupled to a tactile joystick staff operable to control said steerable tractor powered unit, considerably reducing the effort required to operate said vacuum cleaner; a variety of vacuum cleaner types are adaptable for use with said STPU.
Reclining wheelchair apparatus
A reclining wheelchair apparatus for providing a convenient way for wheelchair users to rest or be cared for includes a chair base frame and a plurality of wheels coupled to the chair base frame. A seat bottom is coupled to a base top side and a pair of pivot brackets is pivotably coupled to a base top side adjacent the base back side. A chair back is coupled to the pair of pivot brackets and moves between an upright position and a reclined position. The pair of pivot brackets rests on a pair of bracket supports when the chair back is in the reclined position. A pair of locking pins is coupled to the pair of pivot brackets and selectively engages with the base top side to secure the chair back in the upright position.
Drifting kart
Drifting karts in accordance with embodiments of the invention are described that include a front wheel drive train and rear caster wheels that can be dynamically engaged to induce and control drift during a turn. One embodiment of the invention includes a chassis to which a steering column is mounted, where the steering column includes at least one front steerable wheel configured to be driven by an electric motor, a battery housing mounted to the chassis, where the battery housing contains a controller and at least one battery, wiring configured to provide power from the at least one battery to the electric motor, two caster wheels mounted to the chassis, where each caster wheel is configured to rotate around a rotational axis and swivel around a swivel axis, and a hand lever configured to dynamically engage the caster wheels to induce and control drift during a turn.
Foot-operated personal vehicle
Disclosed is a foot-operated private vehicle, the vehicle including a chassis that extends heightwise along a vertical axis, the vehicle also including a front set of wheels mounted at the front of this chassis, a rear set of wheels mounted at the rear of this chassis, and a unit for controlling the speed and direction of the vehicle, taking the form of a right-hand pedal and a left-hand pedal, the private vehicle being characterized in that at least one pedal, known as the steering pedal, is mounted in a rotatable manner with respect to the chassis about a pivot axis parallel to the vertical axis of the chassis of the vehicle, a rotation of this steering pedal about its pivot axis being used to control the direction of the vehicle.
Chassis for vehicle
The present invention relates to a chassis for vehicle, comprising: a rigid frame, a pair of side wheels in a parallel configuration, a steerable front wheel, a steerable rear wheel, at least one electric motor, wherein at least one of said front wheel or rear wheel is connected to and driven by the at least one electric motor, and wherein said front and rear wheels are mutually connected through a turning mechanism arranged to turn said front and rear wheels simultaneously and synchronously between a middle position in which the axles of the front and rear wheels are substantially parallel with the axles of side wheels, and left or right positions, in which the axles of the front and rear wheels are substantially perpendicular to the axles of the side wheels.
Motorized personal transporter
A personal transporter includes a seat, a frame having a base and a strut supporting the seat, hinged to the base and pivotable between an open configuration and a folded configuration, a pair of driving wheels and at least one non-driving wheel associated to the base defining, in use, three unaligned points on the ground, a pair of electric motors, a pair of control pedals, each associated to a respective electric motor to drive a respective driving wheel, and a support rod for supporting the strut in the open configuration, hinged to the strut and slidably mounted on the base in a guide. The base has a rear portion for supporting the at least one non-driving wheel and a pair of front portions, each hinged to the strut and integrally rotatable with a respective control pedal.
PUMP-ACTION WHEELCHAIR AND CONVERSION KIT
A pump-action wheelchair includes one or more pumping arm(s). A driving wheel is arranged on each side of the wheelchair. The pumping arm(s) is/are connected to two driving mechanisms that are connected to driving axles for the driving wheels. A handle bar can be connected to the pumping arm. The handle bar can be lowered to permit an operator to more easily climb into the wheelchair and then raised into an operating position before performing the pumping action. Different forces can be applied by the driving mechanisms to the driving wheels in response to rotation of the handle bar to steer the wheelchair. A reverse mechanism can be provided to operate the wheel chair in reverse. A conversion kit can convert a conventional wheelchair into a pump-action wheelchair. Foot rests may be connected to the pumping arm to move forward and rearward in response to the pumping action.
Patient transfer apparatus with integrated tracks
A patient transfer apparatus configured to traverse stairs includes a seat assembly, a rear leg pivotably coupled to the seat assembly, a track integrated with the rear leg, and a wheel coupled to a distal end portion of the rear leg. The seat assembly includes a frame with a seat portion. The rear leg is pivotable relative to the seat portion between a transport position and a stair traversing position. In the transport position the wheel is configured to contact a floor, and in the stair traversing position the track is configured to contact the stairs.
WHEELCHAIR ASSEMBLY
