WHEELCHAIR, IN PARTICULAR MANUAL WHEELCHAIR FOR BARIATRIC OR HEAVY DUTY USE
There is described a wheelchair, in particular a manual wheelchair for bariatric or heavy-duty use, that includes a wheelchair chassis, a seating area, a backrest, as well as front wheels and rear wheels, said backrest having a backrest frame supported onto the wheelchair chassis. The wheelchair further includes a rolling support structure forming an integral part of the wheelchair, which rolling support structure is mounted on a rear portion of the wheelchair to support the wheelchair in an upright position in which the wheelchair is tilted back and is supported by the rolling support structure to allow displacement of the wheelchair in the upright position. The rolling support structure includes at least three, in particular four, rolling elements providing rolling support for the wheelchair in the upright position. The rolling elements preferably provide omnidirectional rolling support for the wheelchair in the upright position, and may in particular be ball casters
Dynamic Rotary Locking Member
A selectively locking rotational bearing element includes at least one bearing element supporting an outer race for rotational movement and a plurality of locking elements disposed circumferentially about an inner surface of the outer race. An actuator selectively moves the plurality of locking elements into engagement with the outer race to restrict rotational movement of the outer race and selectively move the plurality of locking elements away from engagement with the outer race such that the outer race is free to rotate relative to the locking elements.

MECANUM WHEEL, CHASSIS, AND ASSISTANT ROBOT
Disclosed is a mecanum wheel, including a mecanum wheel body and a drive device. A wheel axle hole is formed in the mecanum wheel body. The drive device is partially or completely arranged in the wheel axle hole. The axis of a connecting shaft of the drive device is collinear with a rotary shaft of the mecanum wheel body, and the mecanum wheel body rotates along with a housing of the drive device. Further disclosed are a mecanum wheel with a shock absorbing device, a chassis including at least one pair of mecanum wheels, and an assistant robot including a chassis.
VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH LIFT UNIT FOR SEAT
The vehicle is provided with a seat which is movable between a high position and a low position, and configured to be grounded when the seat is at the low position, and a support leg extending substantially downward from the seat of the vehicle. The support leg is movable between a retracted position positioned close to a vehicle body frame and a deployed position positioned remote from the vehicle body frame, the support leg being configured to be at the retracted position when the seat is at the high position, and to move from the retracted position to the deployed position when the seat moves from the high position to the low position.
WHEELCHAIR PROPULSION ASSISTANCE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
A wheelchair can comprise a frame and a plurality of wheels rotatably attached to the frame, and a motor coupled to the frame. A power source can be configured to power the motor. A drive shaft can be coupled to the motor. A first sprocket can be coupled to the drive shaft. A second sprocket can be configured to be rotationally fixed to a wheel of the plurality of wheels. A drive belt or chain can extend between the first sprocket and the second sprocket. An input device can be configured to receive an input from an operator and, in response to receiving the input, cause the motor to rotate.
VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH LIFT UNIT FOR SEAT
The vehicle is provided with a lift unit includes a fixed base (21) supported by a vehicle body frame, a movable base (22) connected to a seat base supporting a seat (4), and supported by the fixed base so as to be movable between a lowered position and a reference position higher than the lowered position relative to the fixed base, an engagement device (23) configured to selectively retain the movable base to the fixed base at the reference position, an electric lift mechanism (24) configured to move the movable base vertically relative to the seat base, and a control unit (6) controlling the engagement device and the electric lift mechanism.
WHEELCHAIR AND SUSPENSION SYSTEMS
Embodiments of a wheelchair and suspension system are provided. The suspension includes a drive assembly that is pivotably connected to a base frame at multiple locations. In one embodiment, the connection is via intermediary pivoting links or arms. Embodiments of the links or arms including rigid links, resilient links, elastic links, shocks, springs, gas cylinders and lockable gas cylinders (or combinations of the foregoing). The drive assembly can, via the pivot connections, pivot to accommodate and traverse variations and obstacles on ground surfaces.
WHEELCHAIR SUSPENSION
A suspension for a wheelchair is disclosed, wherein the suspension comprises: a frame, a motor carrier pivotally mounted on the frame to rotate about a motor carrier axis, a drive wheel having a bottom and mounted on the motor carrier to rotate about a drive wheel axis, a swing arm pivotally mounted on the frame to rotate about a swing arm axis, a swing wheel having a bottom and mounted on the swing arm to rotate about a swing wheel axis, a first contact surface coupled to move in concert with the motor carrier, and a second contact surface coupled to move in concert with the swing arm and configured to contact the first contact surface and transfer an upward force on the swing wheel into a downward force on the drive wheel.
Wheelchair
A wheelchair comprising a support frame (200), a seat frame (210), which is connected movingly in its front part to the support frame (200), and is connected in its rear part to the support frame (200) via a spring shock absorbing mechanism in the form of a torsion beam (105) connected to the rear axle (101) of the wheelchair, via at least one connecting element (104) allowing for immobilization of the connection between the torsion beam (105) and the rear axle (101), wherein at least one end of the torsion beam (105) is fixedly connected to the lever (110) which is pivotally connected to the connector (120) connected to the rear part of the seat frame (210), furthermore, the ends of the torsion beam are pivotally supported by the slide sleeves (103) located in the brackets (102) mounted on the rear axle (101).
