The shampoo basin is detachably connected on the chair back and included a washing chamber.
Seat Assembly
A seat assembly for a mobility scooter has a seat portion for supporting an operator of the mobility scooter in use and a yoke arranged to receive the seat portion. The yoke has a mounting formation for mounting to a support member of the mobility scooter such that the yoke is removably mounted atop the support member and the seat portion is removably mounted atop the yoke in use. The yoke also has an attachment formation for releasable attachment of an arm-rest and a back-rest for the seat portion. The seat portion can be lifted off the yoke as a first component. The yoke can be lifted off the support member as a further component when removing the seat assembly from the mobility scooter
Modular chair systems and methods of transporting a subject with a modular chair system
Modular chair systems and methods of transporting a subject using a modular chair system are described. A modular chair system includes a seat component, a chair component, and a wheelchair component. The seat component includes a seat having a planar lower surface with one or more recesses and one or more attachment bars disposed in each of the recesses. The chair component includes one or more chair latch mechanisms and the wheelchair component includes one or more wheelchair latch mechanisms. Each attachment bar corresponds to one of the chair latch mechanisms and one of the wheelchair latch mechanisms such that the seat component is configured to be placed upon the chair component or the wheelchair component and releasably held in place by the chair latch mechanisms or the wheelchair latch mechanisms.
Chairback support structure
A chairback support structure includes: a back element having a plurality of insertion holes; a plurality of resilient bend plates each having a bendable portion, two insertion portions extending from two ends of the bendable portion, respectively, and two abutting portions disposed at two ends of the bendable portion, respectively, the two insertion portions being insertable into the insertion holes of the back element, and the two abutting portions being adapted to abut against the back element; and a pad for covering the back element and the resilient bend plates.
Configurable assistive device
A configurable assistive device comprising: a platform; at least three wheels; and, at least three independent leg mechanisms, each respective leg mechanism coupled to the platform and a respective one of the at least three wheels, each respective leg mechanism configured to move the platform relative to the respective wheel for positioning the platform at an elevation and for inclining the platform to an inclination to configure the assistive device into one of a plurality of configurations.
SEAT ARRANGEMENT FOR A WHEELCHAIR AND A WHEELCHAIR INCLUDING SUCH A SEAT ARRANGEMENT
A seat arrangement (10) for a wheelchair, as well as a wheelchair (40) incorporating such a seat arrangement (10), are disclosed. The arrangement includes a base, a connecting member and a supporting member. The base forms part of or is mounted to a seat of the wheelchair (40). The connecting member is slidably mounted to the base and displaceable relative to the base between a retracted position and an extended position. The supporting member is pivotably connected to the connecting member and shaped substantially so as to mate with the seat opening (22). The supporting being member is pivotable between an open position and a closed position. When the connecting member is in the retracted position and the supporting member is in the closed position, the supporting member mates with the seat opening (22) to define a sitting surface, and when the supporting member is in the open position, a seat opening (22) is exposed.
Device to provide assistance in transferring, standing, and the like
A device to provide assistance in transferring and standing includes a knee-fixing unit wrapped around and supporting either the knee area or at least the front and sides of the lower leg area from knee to ankle of a care-receiver; a pelvis support wrapped around at least the buttocks or a section from the pelvis to thighs of said care-receiver in a manner that prevents slippage from said pelvis support from slipping off; and left and right pulling bands. Each band having two connecting ends attached to the side of a thigh section and the side of a hip section of said pelvis support respectively so that said bands are positioned above and below the greater trochanter when said care-receiver is being pulled up during transfer/standing assistance and are positioned in front of and behind the greater trochanter when said care-receiver is seated.
Electric Vehicle
In an electric vehicle, a seat on a mobile base can move between a sitting position in which a sitting surface faces the vehicle upper side, and a retracted position in which a seating portion having the sitting surface is retracted from the sitting position to the vehicle front side, a back plate on the mobile base can move between a raised position on the vehicle rear side and the vehicle upper side with respect to the seating portion in the sitting position, and a laid down position on the vehicle front side with respect to the raised position, a cargo bed portion on the mobile base is positioned on the vehicle lower side with respect to the seating portion of the seat in the sitting position and is positioned on the vehicle rear side with respect to the seating portion of the seat in the retracted position.
