Methods of printing a three-dimensional object using co-reactive components are disclosed. Thermosetting compositions for three-dimensional printing are also disclosed.
Biomedical polyurethanes
The invention is directed to biomedical polyurethanes. The invention is particularly directed to biomedical polyurethanes with improved biodegradability and to an improved preparation of the biomedical polyurethanes. In particular the present invention provides a biomedical polyurethane having the formula (A-B-C-B).sub.n, wherein A denotes a polyol, B denotes a diisocyanate moiety, C denotes a diol component and n denotes the number of recurring units, and wherein the B-C-B segment is bioresorbable.
Amine catalysts for the manufacture of isocyanurate polymers
The present invention relates to the use of tertiary amines as catalysts for the cross-linking of isocyanate groups which are aliphatically and/or cyclo-aliphatically bonded. The catalysts according to the invention have the particular advantage that they are thermally latent.
Adhesive composition, a process of producing the adhesive composition, a bonding method using the adhesive composition, and a structure having the adhesive composition applied thereon
The present invention has for its object to provide an adhesive composition that is based on a naturally occurring material less likely to have adverse influences on the human body and has a tensile shear strength (adhesive strength) of at least 1 MPa with respect to a variety of adherends. The present invention provides an adhesive composition including at least a first pack and a second pack, wherein the first pack contains a tannic acid derivative in which a hydrogen atom in at least some hydroxyl group of tannic acid is substituted by a chain hydrocarbon group having at least one hydroxyl group, and the second pack contains a hydrocarbon having at least two cyanate groups or a derivative of the hydrocarbon.
Radiopaque thermoplastic polymer
An embodiment includes a polymer composition comprising a thermoplastic polymer that: (a) is bonded to iodine, (b) includes a vinyl group, and (c) includes urethane linkages. Other embodiments are described herein.
Acid-catalyzed curable coating compositions containing 1,1 di-activated vinyl compounds and related coatings and processes
Acid-catalyzed curable coating compositions containing 1,1-di-activated vinyl compounds are described, including multi-layer coatings. Also provided are processes for coating substrates with coating compositions comprising 1,1-di-activated vinyl compounds. Also provided are coated articles comprising coatings formed from coating compositions comprising 1,1-di-activated vinyl compounds.
