A reclining wheelchair comprises a traditionally styled wheelchair that when lowered converts into a padded changing table. A seat section base, a back section base, and a leg section base are movably attached to a storage area that has an opening for allowing access. The distal ends of a pair of side structural elements are attached to a rear structural element that surrounds the storage area.

A patient support apparatus having a support structure with a primary support surface for a patient, and an extension manually movable by a user relative to the support structure from a stowed position to an extended position so that the extension provides auxiliary support for the patient in the extended position. A locking device is operable to releasably hold the extension relative to the support structure in the stowed position and the extended position. A release mechanism is operable to manipulate the locking device to release the extension for movement relative to the support structure, and is movable with the extension from the stowed position to the extended position.

A collapsible device designed to assist individuals to securely store and transport items while using, for example, a wheelchair. The design allows the user, in some instances, to transport and store items, such as groceries, quickly and effortlessly while seated in the wheelchair.

A medical rehabilitation chair includes a main frame, multiple castor devices mounted on the bottom of the main frame, and two armrest boards mounted on two sides of the main frame. A telescopic damping driver, a seat frame assembly, a backrest frame assembly, a leg support assembly, a lifting mechanism, and a foot support assembly are assembled on the main frame. The seat frame assembly has a front section connecting the leg support assembly and a rear section connecting the backrest frame assembly. The telescopic damping driver drives the backrest frame assembly, the seat frame assembly, and the leg support assembly, to produce different swinging angles. The lifting mechanism drives the seat frame assembly to lift or lower. The foot support assembly is movable in a horizontal direction to protrude from the front section of the main frame.

An adaptable attachment foot plate for a wheelchair that protects a user's feet and legs while providing interchangeable attachment of at least one functional attachment is described. The adaptable attachment foot plate replaces the conventional foot plate and is retrofitted to a wheelchair. The adaptable attachment foot plate is durable and resistant to damage from torque when additional pressure is applied to the adaptable attachment foot plate. The adaptable attachment foot plate includes a base and a guard. The base provides a means for attachment to the wheelchair and the guard provides a means for protection of the user's feet and legs and a means for attaching interchangeable functional attachments without the use of additional brackets to attach the functional attachments.

Portable adjustable frame systems may be used in connection with mobility assistance equipment to improve accessibility for users. Various brackets may be employed to attach the portable adjustable frame system to mobility assistance equipment depending on the type of mobility assistance equipment to which the portable adjustable frame system may be attached. The portable adjustable frame system may include adjustable legs that may help to removably secure the portable adjustable frame system to the mobility assistance equipment. The portable adjustable frame system may be utilized by sliding in relative to the mobility assistance equipment without the need for brackets. Trays and/or baskets may be attached to the portable adjustable frame system to provide additional accessibility for users.

A stander device with improvements to facilitate and/or make more convenient the adjustment and/or repositioning of various elements of the stander device for sizing and comfort of a patient/user, as well as making the folding, storage, and transportation thereof more convenient.

Disclosed is a portable, adjustable table/desk configured to be removably attached to a wheelchair. The table/desk is utilized by an occupant of the wheelchair for engaging in paperwork, reading, or other activity. A variably tiltable tray is supported by parallel left and right side-panels and a rectangular, two-unit base plate 3. The undersurface of the tray 11 supports a linear, tube, each end embedded within countersunk hubs on the side-panels. The base plate 3 may be laterally widened or narrowed to correspond to accommodate the widths of various wheelchairs. Left and right chair mounts may be attached to the respective side-panels to facilitate direct attachment to suitable structural parts of wheelchairs not equipped with armrests. Alternatively, the left and right side-panels of the tray/desk may be attached to pliable left and right canopy clamps which flexibly grip the left and right armrests, respectively, of a wheel chair so equipped.

A motorized lifting and transfer chair includes a base having a front portion and an opposing rear portion, where the rear portion has a pair of foot rests. The chair also includes a plurality of wheels mounted to the base configured to be selectively locked, and a vertical post assembly secured proximate to the rear portion of the base and extending upwards from the base. In addition, the chair includes a seating platform cantilevered from the vertical post assembly, where the seating platform comprises two portions with an aperture formed along two adjacent edges of the two portions and the two portions are configured to swing open and closed about the vertical post assembly. The chair includes a motorized device that raises and lowers the seating platform, and a latch is configured to secure the two portions of the seating platform closed.
