Telescoping assembly for use on a patient support apparatus
A telescoping assembly for use on a patient support apparatus. The telescoping assembly comprises an accessory and a telescoping support slidable to extend the accessory. A locking device releasably holds the telescoping support in the extended position. The accessory is manually movable by a user between a stowed position and a use position. The accessory comprises a deactivator portion operable to deactivate the locking device remotely in response to the user manually moving the accessory relative to the telescoping support toward the stowed position.
ASSISTANCE CHAIR ASSEMBLY
An assistance chair assembly includes a base and a chair is positioned on the base. Two upright boards are perpendicularly connected to the top of the base, and two extension portions extend from the rear end of the base. The chair includes two front legs and two rear legs. The front legs each have a curve slots which allows the chair to be is pivotable about the bolts extending through the rear legs of the chair. The weight center of the chair is not moved beyond the two extensions portions of the base when the chair is pivoted toward the two extensions portions.
Serving apparatus
A serving apparatus is provided to minimise risk of injurious events in a hospital or care setting. The serving apparatus comprises, a serving member having a serving platform; a rotation mechanism in rotatable communication with the serving member; a stand in communication with the rotation mechanism, the stand having a connecting portion; said connecting portion being arranged to reversibly couple the stand to an item of furniture; wherein the rotation mechanism is arranged to provide reciprocal rotation of the serving member between a stowed position and a serving position. The serving apparatus of the present invention aims to minimise the risk of falls or injurious spillages and may also maintain the healthy orthopaedic properties of furniture during mealtimes, without necessitating an awkward seating position wherein said orthopaedic properties become substantially defunct.
WHEELCHAIR FOR CAREGIVERS
