STACKED HERBICIDE TOLERANCE EVENT 8264.44.06.1, RELATED TRANSGENIC SOYBEAN LINES, AND DETECTION THEREOF

This invention relates in part to soybean event pDAB8264.44.06.1 and includes a novel expression cassettes and transgenic inserts comprising multiple traits conferring resistance to glyphosate, aryloxyalkanoate, and glufosinate herbicides. This invention also relates in part to methods of controlling resistant weeds, plant breeding and herbicide tolerant plants. In some embodiments, the event sequence can be “stacked” with other traits, including, for example, other herbicide tolerance gene(s) and/or insect-inhibitory proteins. This invention further relates in part to endpoint TaqMan PCR assays for the detection of Event pDAB8264.44.06.1 in soybeans and related plant material. Some embodiments can perform high throughput zygosity analysis of plant material and other embodiments can be used to uniquely identify the zygosity of and breed soybean lines comprising the event of the subject invention. Kits and conditions useful in conducting these assays are also provided.

SOY PLANTS COMPRISING THE TRANSGENIC EVENT CIGBDT-DEF1 OR CIGBIS-DEF5

The invention discloses a soybean plant, or a part of said plant comprising the transgenic event CIGBDt-Def1 or the transgenic event CIGBIs-Def5, as well as a method for the detection of those events in soybean samples. It also provides a seed from a soybean plant comprising said transgenic events, and products obtained from a plant, or from soybean seeds, comprising one of said events. In addition, the invention is related to a method for the production of soybean plants resistant to glyphosate, and to diseases caused by fungi or oomycetes, comprising the introduction of one of the mentioned transgenic events in the genome of said plants. The increase in the yield of a soybean crop in the field can be achieved with the transgenic events of the invention.

Embodiments disclosed herein relate to the field of plant molecular biology, specifically to DNA constructs for conferring insect resistance to a plant. Embodiments disclosed herein relate to insect resistant corn plant containing event DAS-01131-3, and to assays for detecting the presence of event DAS-01131-3 in samples and compositions thereof.

Compositions and methods for control of insect infestations in plants

The present invention is directed to controlling pest infestation by inhibiting one or more biological functions in an invertebrate pest. The invention discloses methods and compositions for use in controlling pest infestation by feeding one or more different recombinant double stranded RNA molecules to the pest in order to achieve a reduction in pest infestation through suppression of gene expression. The invention is also directed to methods for making transgenic plants that express the double stranded RNA molecules, and to particular combinations of transgenic pesticidal agents for use in protecting plants from pest infestation.
