RNAI STRATEGIES FOR CONTROL OF WHITEFLY
The present disclosure provides compositions and methods utilizing double strand ribonucleic acid (dsRNA) to control insects, including whiteflies. More particularly, the present invention relates to several specific synthetic dsRNAs that induce RNA interference (RNAi) in the target insects and methods of delivering the dsRNAs to them, such as allowing feeding on plants treated with, or transgenically expressing, the dsRNAs.

Plant promoter for transgene expression
This disclosure concerns compositions and methods for promoting transcription of a nucleotide sequence in a plant or plant cell, employing a promoter from a GmCAB2 gene. Some embodiments relate to a promoter or a 5′ UTR from a GmCAB2 gene that functions in plants to promote transcription of operably linked nucleotide sequences. Other embodiments relate to a 3′ UTR or a terminator from a GmCAB2 gene that functions in plants to promote transcription of operably linked nucleotide sequences.
INSECTICIDAL PROTEINS FROM PLANTS AND METHODS FOR THEIR USE
Compositions and methods for controlling pests are provided. The methods involve transforming organisms with a nucleic acid sequence encoding an insecticidal protein. In particular, the nucleic acid sequences are useful for preparing plants and microorganisms that possess insecticidal activity. Thus, transformed bacteria, plants, plant cells, plant tissues and seeds are provided. Compositions are insecticidal nucleic acids and proteins of bacterial species. The sequences find use in the construction of expression vectors for subsequent transformation into organisms of interest including plants, as probes for the isolation of other homologous (or partially homologous) genes. The pesticidal proteins find use in controlling, inhibiting growth or killing Lepidopteran, Coleopteran, Dipteran, fungal, Hemipteran and/or nematode pest populations and for producing compositions with insecticidal activity.

Disclosed herein are pesticicial combinations, including combinations of Yersinia entomophaga (and/or toxins therefrom) and/or Yersinia nurmii (and/or toxins therefrom) with Bacillus thuringiensis (and/or toxins therefrom). As shown herein, such combinations may provide unexpected pesticidal effects and may be useful for treating insects and other pests and for enhancing plant growth and/or yield.
PESTICIDAL COMBINATIONS OF YERSINIA AND INSECT VIRUSES
Disclosed herein are pesticicial combinations, including combinations of Yersinia entomophaga (and/or toxin(s) therefrom) and/or Yersinia nurmii (and/or toxin(s) therefrom) with an insect virus (and/or component therefrom). As shown herein, such combinations may provide unexpected pesticidal effects and may be useful for treating insects and other pests and for enhancing plant growth and/or yield.
