UPCYCLED CELLULOSIC FIBERS

Cellulosic material for the production of regenerated cellulosic fiber is disclosed. The cellulosic material comprises reclaimed cellulosic material, wherein the reclaimed cellulosic material is obtained from cellulosic material waste and has an intrinsic viscosity in a range of 170 ml/g to 280 ml/g. A process for preparing reclaimed cellulosic material for the production of regenerated cellulosic fiber is also disclosed.

A METHOD FOR PREPARING CELLULOSE FIBER

The present disclosure discloses a method for preparing cellulose fiber. The method includes the following steps: 1) mixing cellulose pulp with NMMO aqueous solution of a mass concentration of 60%-85%, preferably 70% to 76%, to obtain a uniform mixture; 2) subjecting the obtained uniform mixture to dewatering for swelling, dissolution, and deaerating to obtain a cellulose spinning stock solution; 3) the cellulose spinning stock solution entering into a spinning machine after being filtered and heat exchange, and entering into a coagulation system after carrying out extruding by a spinneret-pack and cooling by air, and then coagulating in a NMMO coagulating bath of a mass concentration of 50% to 72% to obtain nascent fiber; and 4) subjecting the nascent fiber to rinsing to obtain a fiber filament bundle, and then, performing subsequent-section treatment to obtain cellulose fiber.

A METHOD FOR CLEANING VISCOSE PRODUCTION OFF-GASES AND CATALYSTS FOR USE IN THE METHOD

A method for cleaning an off-gas from viscose production, essentially containing H.sub.2S and CS.sub.2, comprises passing the gas through a catalytic reactor containing a direct oxidation type catalyst, such as V.sub.2O.sub.3 on silica, to convert H.sub.2S in the gas to elemental sulfur, SO.sub.2 or mixtures thereof, either via the oxygen present in the gas or via oxygen added to the gas stream. Elemental sulfur and SO.sub.2 are removed from the effluent gas from the catalytic reactor, and the unconverted CS.sub.2 is recycled to the viscose production process.

A METHOD FOR CLEANING VISCOSE PRODUCTION OFF-GASES AND CATALYSTS FOR USE IN THE METHOD

A method for cleaning an off-gas from viscose production, essentially containing H.sub.2S and CS.sub.2, comprises passing the gas through a catalytic reactor containing a direct oxidation type catalyst, such as V.sub.2O.sub.3 on silica, to convert H.sub.2S in the gas to elemental sulfur, SO.sub.2 or mixtures thereof, either via the oxygen present in the gas or via oxygen added to the gas stream. Elemental sulfur and SO.sub.2 are removed from the effluent gas from the catalytic reactor, and the unconverted CS.sub.2 is recycled to the viscose production process.
