AIR-BEARING PATIENT TRANSFER SYSTEM
A transfer system includes an air-bearing support with first and second longitudinal sections. A port is provided in flow communication with the first and second longitudinal sections, and configured for inflation of the air-bearing support for transfer of a patient or other body. A selective coupling extends between the first and second longitudinal sections, adapted to attach the first and second sections together for transfer of the body on the air-bearing support, and to at least partially detach the first and second longitudinal sections for separation and removal, e.g., upon deflation of the patient support, after the transfer is accomplished.

Harness System For Patient Transport Apparatus
A harness system for a patient transport apparatus. The harness system comprises one or more harness assemblies. Each harness assembly comprises a flexible restraint member formed of a coated fabric and comprising one or more joints in which stitches join sections of the coated fabric. Covers are attached to the coated fabric over the stitches to provide a barrier to outside contaminants and to ease cleaning of the flexible restraint member.
Evacu zip and carry strap with clamp
An Evacu Zip and Carry Strap with Clamp device has a body generally rectangular in shape with a chest merging to a neck that widens to a shoulder. From the shoulder, a cover and a spaced below lower jaw extend opposite the neck. Beneath the cover, an upper jaw pivots upon a pin to mutually engage teeth with teeth upon the lower jaw. A knob joined to a shaft advances a rod to move the upper jaw from an open position to a closed position. In the closed position, the device grips a pillowtop or other material for rapid conversion of it into a stretcher for evacuation. The knob to turns towards counterclockwise for closing the upper jaw to the lower jaw. The invention also includes a strap extending from the chest. An alternate embodiment includes lighting directed towards the two jaws.

Anti-slip and quick-detach fastener structure
The invention provides an anti-slip and quick-detach fastener structure for using with an annular strap which comprises a fixed end, a first inner edge, a free end, and a second inner edge. The anti-slip and quick-detach fastener structure comprises a fixing ring and a dynamic friction member. The fixing ring comprises a first fixing section, a second fixing section opposite to the first fixing section, and an inserting space. The dynamic friction member comprises a first friction section surrounded by the free end to constrain the second inner edge, and an operating section connected with the first friction section. The first friction section and the second fixing section form a dynamic friction state to jointly clamp the free end, and the first friction section loses the dynamic friction state with the second fixing section and releases the free end when the first friction section is forced to rotate.
RESTRAINT ANCHOR FOR PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUSES
A restraint anchor for a component of a patient support apparatus includes a strap having first and second strap sections. The first strap section has opposed first and second distal ends and forms a loop between the first and second distal ends, with the first strap section for looping around the component of the patient support apparatus and for receiving the second strap section through the loop for securing the anchor to the component. The second strap section has first and second ends, with the first end of the second strap section coupled to the first and second distal ends of the first strap section, and the second end of the second strap section coupled to a buckle component. The strap further has at least one stop to limit movement of the second strap section through the loop wherein the stop helps retain the anchor on the component.
