Ring spinning system and method for operating
A method to operate a ring spinning system containing a ring spinning machine having spinning positions and a winding machine having winding positions. Yarn is spun at the spinning position and wound to a cop. Values of a spinning parameter are determined at different times during the winding of the cop and stored as spinning data. The cop is transported from the spinning position to the winding position, where the yarn is rewound from the cop onto a bobbin. Values of a yarn parameter are determined at at least two different times during the rewinding, and stored as yarn data. The spinning data and the yarn data are assigned to each other such that they relate to the same yarn section. Based on the spinning data and yarn data assigned, an intervention is made on the ring spinning machine.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A FAULT IN A SPINNING MILL AND FOR ESTIMATING ONE OR MORE SOURCES OF THE FAULT
An electronic device and associated method are used to detect a fault in a spinning mill and to estimate one or more sources of the fault, the spinning mill including a plurality of textile machines that sequentially process textile materials. With the electronic device, the method receives parameter information of one or more of the textile machines and of one or more of the textile materials. The electronic device detects faults and location of the faults by identifying parameter information of the textile materials deviating from reference information. The electronic device is used to access configuration information of the textile machines and knowledge-based information related to possible sources of faults in the spinning mill. The method incudes using the electronic device to apply parameter information, configuration information, and knowledge-based information to one or more machine-learning algorithms to estimate the sources of the faults.
Method for determining an electrical power or an electrical energy consumption of a spinning machine or winder and a spinning machine or winder operating in accordance with the method
A method determines an electrical characteristic at a spinning machine or winder, wherein the electrical characteristic is one or both of electrical power and electrical energy consumption. The spinning machine or winder includes a plurality of adjacently arranged workstations that each include an electrical working element. A total electrical characteristic for the spinning machine or winder is measured with a central measuring unit. The workstations are subdivided into at least two production groups that operated independently of one another. A distribution key is defined and used to calculate the electrical characteristic specific to each of the production groups by allocating the total electrical characteristic to the production groups with the distribution key. The specific production group electrical characteristics are displayed at the spinning machine or winder and transmitted to a computer that is at a higher control level than the spinning machine or winder.
