Hygro materials for use in making yarns and fabrics
A process is described wherein pile yarn is woven with cotton weft and warp yarns to produce terry fabrics, such as towels. The fabric is then washed in warm water to dissolve the PVA fibers. The amount of fibers dissolved, depends upon the count of the yarn or yarns used. By dissolving the PVA fibers, a hollow air space is produced throughout the pile yarn, corresponding to an increase in the air space in the pile yarn. By increasing the air space in the pile yarn, the resulting towels are softer and bulkier than standard cotton towels. The present invention further relates to pile yarn in terry woven fabric (warp yarn), or weft yarn, in the case of flat fabrics.

TEXTILE FIBRES AND TEXTILES FROM BRASSICA PLANTS
Textile fibres and textiles produced from Brassica plants retain properties that are favourable for textile manufacture. Also described are textiles manufactured from the textile fibres produced from the Brassica plants which exhibit properties that are favourable for apparel and domestic applications, as well as industrial applications. Methods for producing the textile fibres from Brassica plants are further described.

LOAD PLAN GENERATION
Load Plan Generator (LPG) is a BIAPPS utility for generating ODI load plans based on desired subset of fact tables for loading BIAPPS Data Warehouse. The tool simplifies the configurations process by minimizing the manual steps and configurations and provides a guided list of configurations steps and checklists. The load plan components can include different sets of load plans that will be stitched together by the load plan generator to create one load plan for loading chosen fact groups in the warehouse sourcing from different transaction systems.
Composite stretch yarn, process and fabric
In a stretch yarn (1) comprising a stretchable core (2) covered by an inelastic fibers sheath (3) the stretchable core (2) comprises first and second fibers (4, 5) that have elastic properties, the first fiber (4) is an elastomer and the second fiber (5) is a polyester based (co)polymer, the amount of the second fiber being in the range of 60-90% (w/w) of the total weight of the fibers of the stretchable core (2); the first and second fibers are connected together at least at a plurality of points (P).

Methods, processes, and apparatuses for producing welded substrates
A welded yarn may have a cross section about a plane that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the welded yarn wherein the cross-sectional area is comprised of two or more distinct portions, wherein the degree of welding in each portion is different, which may also result in different fiber volume ratios compared to raw yarn substrates.

COTTON FIBERS WITH INCREASED GLUCOSAMINE CONTENT
An isolated nucleic acid molecule is provided comprising a nucleotide sequence which encodes a glutamine:fructose-6-phosphate amidotransferase from E. coli which is particularly suitable for expression in cotton plant cells. The invention also relates to plant cells or plants, in particular to cotton plant cells or cotton plants which produce an increased amount of positively charged polysaccharides in their cell walls. Furthermore, methods and means are provided to increase the content of positively charged polysaccharides in the cell walls of cotton cells, in particular in cotton fibers. Fibers obtained from such cotton plants have an altered chemical reactivity which can be used to attach reactive dyes or other textile finish reagents to these fibers.
