MATTRESS RETENTION ASSEMBLY AND RADIOFREQUENCY WELD IN SURFACE COVERS
A mattress assembly includes a mattress and an outer mattress shell that covers the mattress and has a patient support portion and a sleep deck portion. The outer mattress shell defines an interior surface and an exterior surface. A bonding strip is coupled to the interior surface of the outer mattress shell and a fastening strip is coupled to the exterior surface of the outer mattress shell. A weld extends through the exterior surface and through the interior surface of the outer mattress shell. A clasp locker is operably coupled to the fastening strip and detachably couples the patient support portion to the sleep deck portion of the outer mattress shell.

SPLIT BASE PLATE ASSEMBLY USING PINS
This disclosure pertains to a separable base plate assembly configured to securely attached to a side rail of an operating room table and to hold, move, and maintain a body part in a specific position as needed in orthopedic surgery. The separable base plate assembly is further configured to decouple into separate parts to facilitate sterilization of said parts, after an orthopedic surgery is performed. The separable base plate assembly may comprise two or more base portions including track portions, a base plate connector, drop pins, and associated components adapted for securing the assembly, which in turn is configured to be assembled to a clamp that rigidly attaches the assembly to the operating room table side rail.
System, apparatus, and method for supporting a body
An apparatus for supporting a human body is disclosed. The apparatus has a body assembly configured to support a back of the human body, a head assembly attached to the body assembly via an attachment portion, the head assembly including one or more members forming a recess configured to receive a head of the human body, and a slit disposed between the body assembly and the head assembly, the slit configured to open from a closed position to an open position to provide rotation of the head assembly relative to the body assembly.

Kyphotic Lift for MRI Imaging Bed
A kyphotic lift can comprise a support base, and a body support secured to the support base. The body support can be movable away from the support base and can be operable to support at least an upper body of the patient during use. The kyphotic lift can also comprise a lift mechanism operable to raise and lower the body support away from and back towards the support base to position and align a head of the patient with a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) head coil.
