Patient support formed from an elastomeric composition including a polymer blend of seeps copolymers
This disclosure provides a person support formed from an elastomeric composition. The elastomeric composition includes a polymer blend with the polymer blend consisting essentially of a first and second SEEPS copolymer. The first and second SEEPS copolymers are present in the polymer blend in an amount of from 75 to 95 percent by weight and 5 to 25 percent by weight, respectively, based on the total weight of the polymer blend. In addition, the sum of the first and second SEEPS copolymers in the polymer blend is 100 percent by weight. The first and second SEEPS copolymers have a weight average molecular weight of weight of at least 200,000 and 125,000 to 175,000, respectively. The disclosure also provides a patient support for supporting a patient with the patient support formed from the elastomeric composition.
Modular, deformable, cushioned, resistive infant positioning system and method
A modular, deformable, repositionable, cushioned gentle cushioned, resistive infant positioning system and method for use with infants is provided that includes first and second tubular pillows each having two longitudinally-elongated chambers adjoined at a first and second pillow lateral flexure-enabling element, respectively, and a third compact pillow. The second tubular pillow is preferably wider than the first tubular pillow and includes two straps. Methods of using the three pillows of the cushioned, resistive infant positioning system are presented that provide positioning, calming, and/or the prevention and/or the correction of head shape deformations.

Contouring device
The invention relates to a contouring device for a seat base, backrest, or mattress. The device comprises a substrate having a first surface and an opposing second surface, the first and second surfaces each comprising a plurality of pockets adapted to receive one or more inserts therein. Inserts of various sizes and shapes can be placed within selected pockets of the device to provide a contoured surface that suits the needs of the user of the device. For example, the device can be adapted to provide contours that encourage a user to adopt a preferred posture when seated or lying down.

Electric adjustable bed
Disclosed is an electric bed with an adjustable bed length, containing an upper head bed frame, an upper foot bed frame, a lower bed frame, and a plurality of bedboards with at least one pivotable relative to the lower bed frame. At least one of the upper head bed frame and the upper foot bed frame is fixed/immobile while the other contains a moving component to move between a rest position and an extension position. At least one pivotable bedboard keeps horizontal and the upper head bed frame is away from the upper foot bed frame by Distance 1 at the rest position, while the at least one pivotable bedboard pivots and there is Distance 2 longer than Distance 1 between the upper head bed frame and the upper foot bed frame at the extension position.

Patient Transport Apparatus With A Telescoping Handle Assembly
A patient transport apparatus for supporting a patient. The patient transport apparatus includes a seat assembly having a seat frame. A fowler assembly having a fowler frame is coupled to the seat frame and is moveable relative to the seat assembly. The seat and fowler assemblies support the patient. A telescoping handle assembly is coupled to the fowler assembly. A spine of the telescoping handle assembly is moveable relative to a guide of the fowler assembly along an axis to a plurality of spine positions. An upper handle coupled to and moveable with the spine is spaced farther from the seat assembly in an extended position than in a retracted position. A release linkage has a retainer to engage a receiver of the spine to retain the spine. A release interface is engageable to selectively move the retainer out of engagement with the receiver of the spine.
