Woven textile with point-to-point conductive trace
Conductive wires or traces woven into a textile article as a warp or weft yarn are limited in directionality and beginning and end points. The presently disclosed woven electronic textiles permit electrical traces to begin and end at specific points within an interior of the textile and for runs of the electrical traces to extend continuously at any desired angle and connecting any number of specific points across a textile surface. Such electrical traces are referred to herein as point-to-point conductive traces.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A MULTI-PLY SEPARABLE FILAMENT YARNS AND MULTI-PLY SEPARABLE TEXTURED YARN
A method of manufacturing multi-ply separable textured yarn, the method comprising, passing a multi-ply separable interlaced filament yarn through a texturizing unit to form a multi-ply separable draw textured yarn, wherein the multi-ply separable interlaced filament yarn is separable in to at least two separable interlaced filament yarn, wherein the interlacing 10 of the filaments within each separable interlaced filament yarn is retained during further processing of the yarn to fabric and in the fabric.
TRIBLEND COTTON FABRIC
A woven textile fabric that is soft, comfortable and durable includes warp yarns and weft yarns, wherein the warp yarns include cotton and at least one fiber other than cotton, the weft yarns comprise polyester, the fabric comprises from 44 to 300 ends per inch warp yarn and from 24 to 1800 picks per inch weft yarn. The warp count ranges from 2 s count to 170 s count and the weft count ranges from 7 denier to 150 denier. The fabric is particularly useful as a bed linen.
PROLIFERATED THREAD COUNT OF A WOVEN TEXTILE BY SIMULTANEOUS INSERTION WITHIN A SINGLE PICK INSERTION EVENT OF A LOOM APPARATUS MULTIPLE ADJACENT PARALLEL YARNS DRAWN FROM A MULTI-PICK YARN PACKAGE
A method includes drawing each of multiple synthetic yarns from a corresponding supply package to form an oriented yarn, twisting and detwisting filaments within the oriented yarn to provide texture thereto, to provide a low stability interlacing during weaving, and to intermingle the filaments comprising the oriented yarn, and applying a uniform air pressure to the oriented yarn to provide a counter-twist. The method also includes forming a multi-pick yarn package based on winding all formed oriented yarns, which serve as weft yarns forming adjacent substantially parallel yarns wound together, onto a spool, simultaneously inserting the weft yarns in a single pick insertion event of a loom apparatus, conveying the weft yarns across a warp shed of the loom apparatus through a set of warp yarns, and interlacing the set of warp yarns and the conveyed weft yarns to produce an incremental length of a woven textile fabric.
High thread/ yarn count woven textile fabric and process of preparation thereof
The present disclosure provides a high thread/yarn count textile fabric and a process of preparation thereof. The textile includes a plurality of warps and a plurality of wefts, wherein warp includes a plurality of separable multi-filament yarn. Each yarn has a denier in the range of 5 to 30. The textile fabric has a total thread/yarn count in the range of 300 to 3000 thread/yarns per inch. Each of the plurality of warps comprises 250 to 3000 ends per inch. The present disclosure uses a simple and direct process to achieve good quality textile having a high thread/yarn count at low production cost.
Proliferated thread count of a woven textile by simultaneous insertion within a single pick insertion event of a loom apparatus multiple adjacent parallel yarns drawn from a multi-pick yarn package
A method includes drawing each of multiple partially oriented yarns from a corresponding supply package to form an oriented yarn, twisting and detwisting filaments within the oriented yarn to provide texture thereto, to provide a low stability interlacing during weaving, and to intermingle the filaments comprising the oriented yarn, and applying a uniform air pressure to the oriented yarn to provide a counter-twist.
Method for manufacturing a multi-ply separable filament yarns and multi-ply separable textured yarn
A method of manufacturing multi-ply separable textured yarn, the method comprising, passing a multi-ply separable interlaced filament yarn through a texturizing unit to form a multi-ply separable draw textured yarn, wherein the multi-ply separable interlaced filament yarn is separable in to at least two separable interlaced filament yarn, wherein the interlacing of the filaments within each separable interlaced filament yarn is retained during further processing of the yarn to fabric and in the fabric.
HIGH-DENSITY WARP-FIBER WOVEN FABRIC AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A high thread count woven fabric for use in bedding products includes a 5-end sateen weave formed from a plurality of interwoven cotton warp and weft threads, wherein the number of warp threads per square inch of the fabric is at least about 240 and the number of the weft threads per square inch is about 9% to about 21% A higher than in conventional high thread count fabrics. A method of making the high thread count fabric includes setting up a weaving machine with a shed height and a backrest adjustment as described and shown herein to facilitate weaving the fabric with the high density of warp threads.
Towel fabric and method of manufacture
A fabric has first material yarns and second material yarns woven together to form a ground, The first material yarns are synthetic yarns, and the second material yarns are cotton pile yarns. A coloring process is performed which colors the second material yarns, but which does not take to the first material yarns. A second coloring or printing process is performed on the technical front.
Proliferated thread count of a woven textile by simultaneous insertion within a single insertion event of a loom apparatus multiple adjacent parallel yarns drawn from a multi yarn package
A method, a device and/or a system of proliferating a thread count of a woven textile by simultaneous insertion within a single insertion event of a loom apparatus. In one or more embodiments, multiple texturized polyester weft yarns of denier between 7 D and 200 D are wound on a single bobbin in a parallel adjacent fashion such that they may be fed into an Sulzer/projectile insertion apparatus to weave a textile that has between 90 to 250 ends per inch cotton warp yarns and between 100 and 1200 polyester weft yarns.
