Trim piece with variable stretch characteristics
Elastic trims and articles incorporating the same, and also methods of manufacturing and processing elastic trims and articles incorporating the same, are provided. An elastic trim may include a base textile that is knitted or woven, and may further include cables that are movably positioned in tunnel structures located within the base textile, the cables having a lower stretch characteristic than the base textile. The cables may be secured and removed at certain locations, thereby imparting a variable stretch characteristic to the elastic trim. The elastic trims may be incorporated into various articles, including waistbands, apparel, footwear, and bags.

WOVEN TRIM PIECE
A woven trim piece is provided that utilizes “grip” yarns in the warp direction to increase the coefficient of friction of the trim piece. The grip yarns are interlaced with a plurality of filling yarns to form a repeating pattern of floats on a first face of the trim piece, such that a high percentage of the first face of the trim piece comprises grip yarns.
Multiple chamber folded innerduct structure
A flexible innerduct structure having a first margin region, a second margin region, and a middle region, where the middle region is located between the first and second margin regions. The innerduct structure contains at least two flexible, longitudinal chambers, with each chamber being designed for enveloping at least one cable. The flexible innerduct structure contains at least one strip-shaped textile, each strip containing a first side and a second edge and extending in the longitudinal direction. All first and second edges of the strips are located in the middle region and each strip-shaped textile extends outwards from the middle region, folds about a fold axis located in either the first or second margin region and returns to the middle region. At least one strip extends from the first to the second margin region and the strips are attached together in the middle region.
Woven products
Disclosed is a woven product adapted to be used as a primary backing layer for a surface, ground or floor covering comprising artificial or synthetic grass or turf. The woven product comprises at least a first woven layer and a second woven layer, wherein the first and second woven layers are interwoven, the first woven layer comprises a plurality of warp tapes/threads and a plurality of weft tapes/threads, the warp tapes/threads and the weft tapes/threads of the first woven layer being substantially perpendicular to one another. The second woven layer comprises a plurality of warp tapes/threads and a plurality of weft tapes/threads, the warp tapes/threads and the weft tapes/threads of the second woven layer being substantially perpendicular to one another.
Wear and performance sling with hybrid material webbiing
A webbing for use with a tiedown or sling which has overall increase strength efficiency when compared to known tiedowns or slings which use texturized yarn. The webbing contains non-texturized yarn material having reduced elongation characteristics in the core, combined with non-texturized yarn having higher elongation and improved wear characteristics on the exterior surfaces.
Hybrid chain link
A chain link having a strip which includes warp yarns and weft yarns is provided, with the warp yarns containing a warp yarn A and a warp yarn B, with the minimum creep rate of warp yarn B being higher than the minimum creep rate of warp yarn A, wherein the strip comprises a longitudinal core section and at least two longitudinal edge sections, and wherein the concentration of warp yarn A in the core section is higher than the concentration of yarn A in the edge sections of the strip and the concentration of warp yarn B in the edge sections is higher than the concentration of warp yarn B in the core section of the strip. The invention also relates to a chain comprising said chain link and to use of said chain in different applications.
Strap
In summary, the invention is directed to a strap for tensioning a vehicle side curtain, the strap comprising: a strap body having a plurality of warp yarns and a weft yarn, the weft yarn being interleaved with each of the plurality of warp yarns, wherein the warp yarns are tensioned in a substantially straight configuration; and a coating to retain the warp yarns in their straight configuration.
Woven thermoelectric ribbon
A woven structure includes thermoelectric ribbons interwoven with thread. Each thermoelectric ribbon includes a folded matrix of thermoelectric elements, the matrix having an insulating substrate that supports plural rows of thermoelectric elements, a plurality of conductive elements, and two terminals. The conductive elements form a series connection of the thermoelectric elements between the two terminals. A set of first conductive elements have a first temperature and a set of second conductive contacts have a second temperature lower than the first temperature when a first current flows in a first direction between the first matrix terminal and the second matrix terminal. The folded matrix is configured to form spaced-apart alternating stacks of the first conductive contacts and second conductive contacts. Each length of the yard or thread is interwoven such that it passes alternately under stacks of first conductive contacts and over stacks of second conductive contacts.
WEAVING METHOD FOR CLOSING WEBBING EDGES
The embodiment of the present application discloses a weaving method for braid edge overlock, to weave two side edges of the braid, herein a single side edge of the braid includes a plurality of warp yarns and at least one weft yarn; the warp yarns alternately move upward and downward, thereby forming upper and lower layers; the weft yarn shuttles left and right between the upper and lower layers of the warp yarns, thereby forming the braid edges by interweaving with the warp yarns; either of the left and right edges of the braid includes at least four warp yarns, referred to as Warp A, B, C, D from left to right; the right edge of the braid is provided with a right side yarn. The weaving processes include: first fore-and-back trip, second fore-and-back trip, third fore-and-back trip and fourth fore-and-back trip. The tissue form of the braid edge in the present application includes sinking lock sites and floating lock sites, and the structure of two side edges of the braid enables the sinking and floating of the upper and lower layers misalign properly, forming misaligned positions of warp yarns so as to make the weft yarn weave pair locks, which makes the structures of the left and right edges of the braid form shaggy, fluffy and soft round corners, so as to not scratch when contacting with the skins, and wear more comfortably.
