The method for manufacturing a shock-absorbing lanyard for easy length adjustment of POY according to the present disclosure includes (a) weaving a safety tube band which is a tube fabric woven using fiber yarn and rubber yarn, and placing a core material in the safety tube band at the same time, wherein the core material is made of a plurality of POY and stretches in a longitudinal direction to absorb shock; (b) adjusting a length of the core material after weaving the safety tube band; and (c) combining the safety tube band with the core material to form a combination.

An add-on weaving method, a device based on this method, 3D fabric items producible by this method and device, and composite materials reinforced with such 3D fabric items. The 3D fabric items are produced directly by the add-on weaving process using Complementary Fabric, warp yarns and weft yarns. The interacting woven fabric produced by interlacing the warp and weft yarns is simultaneously integrated with the Complementary Fabric used. The Complementary Fabric and interacting woven fabric integrate in mutual through-thickness directions at their intersecting planes and create directly 3D fabric items which are useful for manufacturing delamination resistant and high-performance composite materials.

METHOD OF FABRICATING A TEXTILE STRUCTURE OF VARYING THICKNESS
A method of fabricating a textile structure of varying thickness, the method including weaving a fiber texture in the form of a strip and winding the fiber texture under tension onto a mandrel, the fiber texture including a greater-thickness portion presenting greater thickness. During winding of the fiber texture on the mandrel, an interleaving element is interposed between adjacent turns of the fiber texture on the mandrel, the interleaving element extending in the width direction of the fiber texture over a portion of the texture that lies outside the greater-thickness portion. The interleaving element presents, over the portion of the texture situated outside the greater-thickness portion, a thickness that corresponds at least to the difference between the thickness of the greater-thickness portion and the thickness of the portion of the texture situated outside the greater-thickness portion.
