TEXTILE MACHINE BELT
The present invention provides a belt for a textile machine capable of reducing running noise caused during belt running. A canvas core used in the belt is constituted by a woven fabric based on a twill weave texture in which a warp crosses a plurality of wefts and aggregates (19) of weave points at which the warp crosses the wefts are regularly shifted in one longitudinal direction (L) of the belt to form a twill line (17), and some of the aggregates (19) in the twill line (17) are shifted at a predetermined interval in the opposite direction to the one longitudinal direction.
ANGLED FIBERGLASS CLOTH WEAVES
A process of forming an angled fiberglass cloth weave includes weaving a first set of fibers oriented at a first non-orthogonal angle with respect to a printed circuit board to be formed from the angled fiberglass cloth weave with a second set of fibers oriented at a second non-orthogonal angle with respect to the printed circuit board to be formed form the angled fiberglass cloth weave.
COMPOSITE WOVEN FLUIDIC DEVICE
Disclosed is a fluidic device including at least: a) a solid matrix; b) a textile component, embedded in the matrix and mechanically cohesive with the matrix; c) at least one channel embedded in the matrix and entangled with the textile component, the channel being at least partly open. A method for making a fluidic device includes providing a textile component including support fibers and at least a movable fiber entangled with the textile, embedding at least part of the textile and part of the movable fiber, in a matrix precursor material, applying a treatment in order to obtain a solid matrix.
NON-SEAMED SHEETING FABRIC HAVING A COOL PORTION AND A WARM PORTION
A non-seamed sheeting fabric, such as a bed sheet, including a cool portion and a warm portion that is integral with the cool portion. The warm portion is configured to provide greater thermal insulation than the cool portion.
Method and means for weaving, 3D fabric items thereof and their use
An add-on weaving method, a device based on this method, 3D fabric items producible by this method and device, and composite materials reinforced with such 3D fabric items. The 3D fabric items are produced directly by the add-on weaving process using Complementary Fabric, warp yarns and weft yarns. The interacting woven fabric produced by interlacing the warp and weft yarns is simultaneously integrated with the Complementary Fabric used. The Complementary Fabric and interacting woven fabric integrate in mutual through-thickness directions at their intersecting planes and create directly 3D fabric items which are useful for manufacturing delamination resistant and high-performance composite materials.
Plexus of Filaments with Linked Members
Disclosed herein is a plexus of filaments which is composed of paired filaments which travel extensively around one another to form a double helix structure, where each pair of filaments belongs to a group of filaments, traverse at crossing angles to other filaments which belong to at least another group of filaments, thus repetitively crossing the paths of the filament pairs in at least another group of filaments. Also defined within the specifications and claims herein is the linking of the filaments between the different paired groups of filaments, which facilitates the distribution of tension between the filaments within a plexus of filaments. Herein described are plexuses which exhibit greater conformal and constrictive qualities in comparison to the prior art. Also disclosed is a method of producing filament structures for a variety of uses including composite structures, with enhanced structural properties, including but not limited to; tension displacement properties, for use in applications requiring conformal load distribution with minimal weight.
Woven structured fabric with crossing twill lines
A woven fabric for use in a machine to produce a fiber web, such as a tissue fiber web, has a paper side formed by interwoven warp yarns and weft yarns. The paper side has a plurality of twill lines formed by neighboring flotations of warp yarns. The twill lines have an MD vector component in a machine direction and a CD vector component in a cross machine direction. At least some twill lines are diagonal, with a CD vector component being unequal to zero. The diagonal twill lines include first diagonal twill lines with CD vector components that have an opposite sign to the CD vector components of second diagonal twill lines. A sum of all CD vector components of the first diagonal twill lines is substantially balanced with a sum of all CD vector components of the second diagonal twill lines.
WOVEN OR EXTRUDED NET, USE OF THE NET FOR MAKING A BAG AND BAG FOR CONTAINING PRODUCTS
A woven or extruded net for forming bags, with threads or bands which are linked or firmly bonded together to make up meshes. The meshes of the net are not homogeneous and the net has at least one main portion in which the threads or bands are linked or bonded to form a first mesh structure, suitable for the net to fulfill its role; and at least one smaller portion wherein the threads or bands form a second mesh structure, more readily breakable than the first mesh structure, intended to make it easier to open the bag which is to be made with the net.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITE AND PREPARATION METHOD OF THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITE
A method of preparing a thermoplastic resin composite includes laminating a matrix resin layer and a reinforcing resin layer to prepare a resin laminate, and heat-bonding the resin laminate, and prior to the step of heat-bonding the resin laminate, fixing one or more selected from the group consisting of the reinforcing resin layer and the resin laminate using a stitch resin having a draw ratio of less than 10:1 and a melting point of 150 C. or lower.
Method for forming a fabric preform for a composite material by separately tensioning tows
Disclosed are methods and devices for the formation of fabric preforms that may be subsequently impregnated with a resin to form a composite component. One end of the fabric is received on the form such that the axial tows of the fabric extend in a direction generally perpendicular to a central axis of the form. At least some of the plurality of axial tows are separately tensioned on an end of the fabric not attached to the form and the fabric is wrapped around the form by rotating the fabric and form relative to one another about the central axis.
