FLEECE FABRIC AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A fabric having a first side and a second side and comprising weft yarns and warp yarns woven together in pattern. At least some of the weft, or warp, yarns float over a number of warp yarns, or weft yarns, and below a number of warp yarns, or weft yarns, to provide weft, or warp, over portions on the first side and under portions on the second side. The under portions and/or over portions of the yarns form loops. At least some of the yarns that form the loops are conjugate yarns comprising a plurality of filaments that are separable, i.e., splittable into sub-filaments. The loops of the conjugate yarns extend for a length of at least three adjacent warp, or weft, yarns.
MULTI-CARRIER, ZONAL WEAVING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND MATERIAL
A multi-carrier, zonal weaving system and method of manufacturing a zonal woven material is provided. The multi-carrier system includes a first weft yarn, a second weft yarn, and one or more intermediate warp yarns for wrapping by the first and second weft yarns. The zonal weaving method includes receiving a first weft yarn from a first origin via a first shed, wrapping it around one or more zonal warp yarns, and returned to the first weft origin after the first shed upper and lower yarns are exchanged. In further aspects, a second weft yarn is received from a second weft origin via a second shed, wrapped around the same intermediate, zonal warp yarns, and returned to the second weft origin after exchange of the second shed yarns. In one aspect, the first and second weft yarns are interlocked during wrapping of the common warp yarns.
Flexible stress sensing device of full-textile materials
A flexible stress sensing device is provided, which includes a flexible cloth substrate, a flexible stress sensor and textile knots configured to fix the flexible stress sensor on the flexible cloth substrate. The flexible stress sensor includes two conductive fiber bundles, wherein each of the conductive fiber bundles is provided with a loose structure, and the loose structures of two conductive fiber bundles contact with each other and form a stress sensing unit. The flexible stress sensing device can be washable, is not easy to fall off, and can resist against motion interference, and has other advantages of high resolution, high sensitivity and a compatibility with the prior textile techniques.
Textile
A textile with high weave density which comprises a main-yarn made of a Japanese paper yarn and a sub-yarn thinner than the main-yarn interwoven with each other, wherein the textile has a weave texture structure including warps A and wefts A made of the main-yarn, and warps B and wefts B made of the sub-yarn, wherein in the weave texture structure, warp rows have a repeating row structure where a plurality of warps B are located between two warps A and weft rows have a repeating row structure where a plurality of wefts B are located between two wefts A, and wherein the warps A and the wefts A cross each other in a plain weave texture structure.
SIMULATED CORK APPAREL TAG AND LABEL
A tag, label or ticket simulating cork in appearance and method of manufacturing the tag for use in brand identification or embellishment on garments, apparel items and accessories. The invention utilizes Jacquard weaving and printing in order to create patterns which have the appearance of natural cork. The apparel tag, ticket or label can then be readily attached to the wearable article or apparel item by weaving, sewing, heat transfer, bonding or other suitable means.
Trilobal Waterproof Breathable Laminated Stretch Fabric
A woven polyester fabric with a trilobal construction and a 5% elastane content, and an outer laminated layer of polyurethane, with 250 GSM insulation. The fabric and clothing made from the fabric is waterproof, breathable, stretchable in 4 directions, and insulating to −50 degrees Celsius. The fabric meets the standards defined by the testing standards ASTM D2034-2009; ASTM D1424-2009: ASTM D434-1995; ASTM D4970/D4970M-2010c1, ASTM D3107-07(R2011), AATCC 127, and JIS L1099 Method B-1:2006.
STRETCHABLE FABRIC, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR SAME
An elastic woven fabric comprising weft and warp yarns, the weft yarns including elastic composite yarns each of which comprises an elastic core yarn and a sheath yarn covering the elastic core yarn, and the warp yarns including chemical fiber yarns and/or natural fiber yarns. Each of the elastic composite yarns is in a form of a singly-covered yarn in which the elastic core yarn is covered by a single layer of the sheath yarn helicoidally wound around a periphery of the elastic core yarn, a number of turns of the sheath yarn per 1 meter of the elastic core yarn being in a range of 1,000 to 2,500 T/m. A stretching magnification ratio of each of the elastic composite yarns, in the elastic woven fabric in a weaving process, is retained equal to or less than 1.30 folds based on the elastic composite yarn before weaving.
STABLE CONDUCTIVE MYOCARDIAL PATCH WITH NEGATIVE POISSON'S RATIO STRUCTURE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A stable conductive myocardial patch with a negative Poisson's ratio structure is provided. The preparation method includes preparing a myocardial patch substrate with concave polygons as the structural units by weaving or knitting, and then a conductive coating is coated on the surface of the substrate. Alternatively, the yarns can be processed into conductive coated yarns first, and then used as the raw material to weave or knit a stable conductive myocardial patch with a negative Poisson's ratio structure. The prepared myocardial patch has a relative resistance change of less than 5% at 50% tensile strain. When the strain of the structural units is within 50%, the fabric exhibits a negative Poisson's ratio structure, which expands in the perpendicular direction of the tensile load. The fabric exhibits a negative Poisson's ratio effect and anisotropy of Young's modulus, which matches the mechanical behavior of natural myocardium.
Clothing with enhanced response characteristics for laser finishing
A fabric has enhanced response characteristics for laser finishing. The fabric can be denim for denim apparel such as jeans. Software and lasers are used to finish apparel made of the fabric to produce a desired wear or distressing pattern or other design. The fabric allows for relatively fast color change in response to the laser, color changes in hue from indigo blue to white, many grayscale levels, and maintains strength and stretch properties. A method used to make the fabric includes spinning, dyeing, and weaving yarns in such a way to obtain the desired enhanced response characteristics for laser finishing.
Composite propeller vane or blade for aircraft integrating a conformation part
A vane includes a fiber reinforcement having a three-dimensional weaving densified by a matrix, the fiber reinforcement including in a single woven part a root portion and an airfoil portion extending along a longitudinal direction between the root portion and a vane tip portion and along a transverse direction between a leading edge portion and a trailing edge portion. The airfoil portion includes first and second extrados and intrados faces. The fiber reinforcement includes a non-interlinking forming a housing inside the fiber reinforcement, a conformation part being present in the housing. The non-interlinking extends over a non-interlinked area inside the airfoil portion of the fiber reinforcement included between the root portion and the vane tip portion in the longitudinal direction and between the leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion in the transverse direction, the non-interlinking also opening outside the airfoil portion of the fiber reinforcement.
