SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR SAFE LIFTING OF PATIENTS FROM HOSPITAL BEDS

Systems and methods are provided for safe lifting of patients from hospital beds, moving of patients, and lowering of patients into hospital beds, or other hospital or patient care facilities. The system comprises a frame configured to securely support, raise or lower, and move plates suitably sized to hold a person. The plates support the patient and guide conveyor belts, which are disposed on and around the plates. The frame holds rollers to guide and move the conveyor belts in forward and reverse directions, suited to moving the plates under a person and lifting a person from a bed, or returning a person to a bed. The present invention solves problems with the currently available means of moving people in or out of hospital beds or other patient-care locations, by making it easier for patient-care staff to move a patient, and reducing strain on the patient.

Apparatus and system for lifting, moving, turning, and positioning a patient

A patient support device includes a sheet configured to be placed beneath the patient in use and a plurality of straps connected to the sheet and configured for use in moving, lifting, turning, and/or positioning the patient. The straps may include one or more retractable straps that each have a stretchable retraction strap connected thereto and configured for retracting the retractable strap. The straps may also include one or more central support straps connected to the sheet in an area positioned between the legs of the patient. The sheet may also include a head support for supporting the patient's head, which head support may also include one or more straps. The straps may be connected to a hoist, which is then used to lift the patient.

APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR LIFTING, MOVING, TURNING, AND POSITIONING A PATIENT

A patient support device includes a sheet configured to support an upper body of a patient when the sheet and the upper body of the patient are lifted. The sheet has a plurality of peripheral edges. The plurality of peripheral edges includes a head edge. The patient support device includes a head support connected to a portion of the head edge of the sheet, such that the head support extends outwardly from the sheet. The patient support device further includes one or more head support straps connected to the head support. The head support is configured to support a head of the patient when the one or more head support straps and the head of the patient are lifted.

Disclosed is a carrying module detachably provided on a host module. The carrying module comprises two mounting bases, two guardrails, two bearing plates, and a backrest assembly. The two guardrails are respectively connected and locked to the mounting bases by means of a first coupling device. The two bearing plates are respectively rotatably mounted at the bottoms of the two guardrails by a second coupling device. When being lifted upwards, the bearing plates are close to the guardrails, and when being horizontally placed, the bearing plates can be used for bearing weight. The backrest assembly is detachably connected and locked to the two guardrails by means of a third coupling device. The host module comprises a host body and a displacement module, which can be combined with a plurality of nursing modules to forma nursing machine, and can also be added with a push module to form a displacement machine.
