NEGATIVE PRESSURE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
A protective equipment includes a rotatable window and an extended member secured to a peripheral edge of the rotatable window. The rotatable window may be configured as a shield to be disposed between a patient and a healthcare worker to minimize exposure of the healthcare worker to at least one of the patient's bodily fluids, bacteria, and viruses. A port provides entrance by one or more instruments through the rotatable window or the extended member, thereby providing access to the patient while protecting the healthcare worker from the patient's bodily fluids, bacteria and/or viruses. The protective equipment may include an air flow system configured to receive and filter air expelled by the patient, to pull the expelled air away from the patient's face and to filter/clean the expelled air.
COLLAPSIBLE ISOLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A medial isolette is provided. A flexible enclosure and a collapsible wire-frame structure are provided which supply an economical and easily assembled isolation chamber. A flexible drape is provided to further isolate the patient and effectively control a negative pressure environment within the isolette. Access ports with integrated or removable gloves are provided to access the patient when the isolette is in use. A component access panel is provided for ducted connection of patient gas circuits and leads and source of negative pressure.
ALTITUDE SIMULATOR AND ASSOCIATED CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An altitude simulator controls a percentage of oxygen within an enclosed environment to simulate altitude. A controller of the altitude simulator determines a set altitude to be simulated within the enclosed environment and determines an oxygen percentage setpoint based upon the set altitude. The altitude simulator senses, at intervals, environmental parameters of the enclosed environment. The altitude simulator may determine, from the environmental parameters, an oxygen percentage value indicative of a percentage of oxygen in air of the enclosed environment. The altitude simulator feeds hypoxic air into the enclosed environment from an air unit and controls a ventilation fan to maintain the oxygen percentage value at the oxygen percentage setpoint.
Assembling Negative Pressure Isolation Chamber
The invention discloses an assembly type negative pressure isolation chamber, in which the necessary configuration of the negative pressure isolation ward is contained in a hexahedral chamber. The chamber forms an independent building assembly unit, which can be integrated into or removed from the building system. The chamber can also be disassembled and transported, and the switching of use functions can be realized through the flexible combination and simple modification of components. The indoor wall of the chamber is light Clean and washable materials are integrated with furniture. The air conditioning system adopts internal circulation return air and independent temperature regulating device. The sewage pre disinfection link is added to the sewage system. The negative pressure isolation chamber can help the medical isolation building system expand rapidly in case of respiratory infectious disease outbreak and can carry out space mobility with the transfer of the epidemic situation.
HOOKLESS SHOWER CURTAIN WITH SEAMLESS SNAP-ON LINER
In some implementations, a hookless shower curtain with seamless snap-on liner (“seamless liner shower curtain”) comprises a curtain and an attachable (e.g., snap-on) liner. In some implementations, a method of using the seamless liner shower curtain comprises attaching the liner to the curtain and using the seamless liner shower curtain as a shower curtain.
PRESSURIZED ISOLATION UNIT
The present invention is a pressurized isolation unit dimensioned to cover the head and thoraco-abdominal region of a patient. The unit has a filtered pressure system and a flexible abdominal binding cover that wraps around the patient's abdomen.
Two-way negative pressure isolation passage for fever clinics
This invention relates to the technical field of isolation passage for fever clinics, and it discloses a two-way negative pressure isolation passage for fever clinics, comprising an inquiry compartment, a dressing room and a doctor passage compartment, wherein, a negative pressure disinfection compartment is arranged between the inquiry compartment and the dressing room, and a negative pressure buffer compartment is arranged between the dressing room and the doctor passage compartment; the isolation passage also comprises a trash conveying compartment arranged below the outer side wall of the inquiry compartment, the dressing room and the doctor's passage compartment, and a bathroom is also arranged in the dressing room. According to the invention, when the medical trash cans in each compartment in the passage need to be conveyed, medical staff only need to convey the trash cans onto the conveying belt through a trash can treatment airtight door while stay in their own area, the trash cans are disinfected for harmless treatment before being conveyed out by negative pressure conveying, which eliminates the need for cleaners to enter dangerous areas to convey trash cans, making protection effect better.
PORTABLE NEGATIVE-PRESSURE MEDICAL AND DENTAL ISOLATION CHAMBER AND PROCEDURES OF USE
A portable negative air pressure apparatus for isolating a treatment subject to permit a selected treatment procedure to be performed by a treatment operator. The apparatus comprises an air source connected to a closed chamber for sealable disposition over the head, neck and upper thorax of the treatment subject with the chamber having air ports, in and out. The chamber has rigid clear sides and a plurality of sealed ports, with the ports including sealed armholes for access, and with sealed gloves connected to the sealed armholes. The chamber also has at least one instrument hatch to permit introduction into the chamber of instruments for carrying-out the selected treatment procedure.
Clean booth
Provided is a clean booth in an assembled state, including: a frame; a wall portion that is provided on the frame and forms an internal space; a first unit that is provided on the wall portion and includes a first fan that supplies air to the internal space via a first filter; and a second unit that is provided on the wall portion and includes a second fan that exhausts the air in the internal space.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CELL AND GENE THERAPY AT POINT-OF-CARE LOCATION
Methods and apparatus for producing a treatment dose of engineered cells for individual patients at the point-of-care location. In some embodiments, a patient treatment system includes a mobile cell and gene processing station that provides individualized patient treatments at point-of-care locations. The cell and gene processing station may include a patient chamber configured to isolate a patient from an external environment, a first environment controller to adjust environmental parameters of the patient chamber, a processing chamber configured to isolate processing of patient cells from the external environment, a second environment controller to adjust environmental parameters of the processing chamber, a first apparatus configured to receive at least one blood sample from the patient, a second apparatus configured to process the blood sample, and a third apparatus configured to perform cell and gene engineering on the blood sample to create a treatment dose for the patient.
