HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE BASSINET
A height adjustable bassinet with two height adjustable columns and associated assist cylinders. The bassinet includes a height adjustment assembly to operate the assist cylinders from manual actuators, such as paddles, located approximately in four corners of the bassinet support surface. The height adjustment system may include a pair of paddle assemblies mounted under the bassinet support surface. The paddle assemblies may be coupled to the assist cylinder by a dual linkage that translates pivotal movement of any individual paddle into movement sufficient to simultaneously actuate both assist cylinders. The dual linkage may include a pair of drive rods coupled to a pair of actuator rods by a plurality of pivot arms. The pivot arms may be generally “L” shaped and arranged in a rectangular configuration so that each drive rod is operatively coupled to two pivot arms and each actuator rods is operatively coupled to two pivot arms.
Neonatal care system with sling sleep device
A neonatal care system includes a base, a bassinet platform supported on the base, and a neonatal sleep device. The neonatal sleep device includes a frame structure connected to and extending upward from the bassinet platform, wherein the sling is suspended above the bassinet platform and configured to support a neonate. The neonatal care system further includes a heater configured to heat an environment surrounding the neonate supported in the sling.
Systems and methods for controlling a heating component for an infant care station
An infant care station is described herein that can include a heating component of a microenvironment of the infant care station, at least one temperature measuring device, and a processor. The processor can calculate a baseline temperature of the heating component using the at least one temperature measuring device and monitor the heating component using the at least one temperature measuring device to determine one or more operating characteristics. The processor can also detect, based at least in part on the baseline temperature, that the one or more operating characteristics exceed a predetermined threshold and generate a response that results in a correction of the temperature maintained by the heating component.
NEONATAL CARE SYSTEM WITH SLING SLEEP DEVICE
A bassinette for a neonatal care system includes a frame structure with at least one vertical a support member extending downward from a top support member. A sling is suspended from the top support member and configured to support a neonate. The sling comprises a pressure-diffusing netting material extending from a top end to a bottom end between opposing lateral sides. A heating coil may be configured to heat the neonate supported on the sling, and a sling controller may be secured to the frame and configured to selectively control the heating coil to heat the neonate. Additionally, a plurality of stretchable conductive electrodes may extend through the pressure-diffusing netting material and may be configured to acquire physiological signals from the neonate. The stretchable conductive electrodes may be configured to communicate the physiological signals from the plurality of conductive electrodes to a sling controller.
Installable RF coil assembly
A maneuverable RF coil assembly, useful for being maneuvered at both positions: (i) over at least a portion of a neonate immobilized within a cradle at time of MR imaging; and (ii) below or aside the cradle when it is not required for imaging. The maneuverable RF coil assembly comprises at least one RF coil and maneuvering mechanism. The maneuvering mechanism comprises both: (i) a linear reciprocating mechanism for approaching or otherwise drawing away at least one coil to and from the neonate; and (ii) tilting mechanism for placing at least one coil away from the neonate.
BASSINET
A bassinet includes a base, a column assembly rotatably connected to the base at a first end of the column assembly, an arm rotatably connected to a second end of the column assembly, a tub frame pivotably connected to the arm, an infant tub retained within the tub frame, the infant tub including a front wall, a back wall, and two side walls and having areas of reduced height along the front wall and at least one of the side walls to provide enhanced access to the infant located within the infant tub, and an insert configured to reversibly fit within an interior of the infant tub.

DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR TRANSPORTING INFANTS
The present invention provides devices and system useful for transporting infants, minimizing vibrations, noise, and associated with transport. Devices of the invention include a head gear assembly, one or more body support rolls for elevating portions of the infants body, and a mattress system with a removable insert. The invention further provides methods of use associated with such devices, including methods of stabilizing a position of an infant, reducing shock or vibration to an infant during transportation, reducing shock, vibration, or noise exposure to an infant during transportation, reducing shock or vibration while providing elevation to specific portions of an infant during transportation, and reducing the risk of intraventricular hemorrhage and/or persistent pulmonary hypertension to an infant during transportation.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES OF PRETERM INFANTS
Adverse effects of pain in a premature infant, especially a very or extremely premature infant may be ameliorated by exposing the infant to stimuli comprising one or more of vertical oscillating motion simulating breathing, skin contact with an interface that mimics human skin and exposure to sounds and/or vibrations that simulate heartbeats. A device including a movable platform provides such stimuli within a neonatal intensive care incubator. The device provides simulated maternal breathing through vertical movement at a rate and speed similar to that experienced by an infant lying upon its mother's chest. It further provides simulated maternal skin interface feel as well as heartbeat sound. These simulated sensory parameters appear to have an innate calming effect upon a preterm infant that reduces the duration and severity of the infant's response to a pain event. The same stimulations may reduce occurrence of below-baseline fluctuations of brain blood oxygen content.
