Article of footware with upper incorporating knitted component providing variable compression
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper that is attached to the sole structure. The upper includes a knitted component with a compression member that is configured to apply compression to the wearer. The knitted component also includes a selection element that is configured for selecting and changing the amount of compression applied by the compression member. The selection element is spaced away from the sole structure. The selection element includes a first area and a second area. The first area is configured to move relative to the second area between an unsecured position and a secured position to change the amount of compression applied by the compression member. The first area is spaced away from the second area in the unsecured position, and the first area is attached to the second area in the secured position.

UNBROKEN LOOP POLYMER FILM AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A polymer composite is disclosed and a method of making the same. The polymer composite includes an unbroken loop fabric having first second sides and a polymer film. The polymer film has first and second sides, the first side of the polymer film being bonded to the second side of the unbroken loop fabric. The polymer film is a polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, or any combination thereof. The polymer composite may also include a polymer sheet with first and second sides. The first side of the polymer sheet is bonded to the second side of the polymer film. The polymer sheet may include a polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, or any combination thereof.
Footwear article including circular knit structures
An aspect of the disclosure is a footwear article. The footwear article includes a double layer knitted upper having a foot bed, an upper portion continuous with the foot bed, an ankle opening, and an inner void for receiving a foot of a wearer. The double layer knitted upper has an outer knit layer defining an exterior surface of the double layer knitted upper. The double layer knitted upper also has an inner knit layer monolithically knit to the outer knit layer. The inner knit layer has a plurality of inner knit regions that spatially correspond to the plurality of outer knit regions of the outer knit layer. The outer knit layer and the inner knit layer substantially define the foot bed and the upper portion of the double layer knitted upper.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
An article of footwear having an upper constructed at least in part from a sock-like structure having at least two or more layers in a portion of, or in all of, its regions. The sock-like structure may be knitted and may be a unitary construction such that one portion folds over another portion. Separately formed attachments may include parts of the sole, liners, decorative elements, cording, and structural supports which may be located between the layers of the sock-like structure. The attachments may be molded and conformed into shape directly on to the sock-like structure.
Natural wool pile fabric and method for making wool pile fabric
A method of making a deep pile fabric that closely resembles natural sheepskin fleece. The method includes forming a length of pile fabric having fibers on one side and a scrim on an opposing side, where at least a portion of the fibers are natural wool fibers, and finishing the pile fabric as natural sheepskin by polishing the fiber side of the pile fabric, including guiding the length of pile fabric over at least two polishing rolls, where the two polishing rolls rotate in opposite directions.
Apparel item configured for reduced cling perception
An apparel item configured to reduce the perception of cling is provided herein. The apparel item comprises a first set of outwardly-projecting nodes on a first portion of the apparel item, a second set of outwardly-projecting nodes on a second portion of the apparel item, and a third set of inwardly-projecting nodes on a third portion of the apparel item, where the third set of nodes is positioned between the first set of nodes and the second set of nodes. The first and second sets of outwardly-projecting nodes comprise apertures that provide a communication passage from an outer surface of the apparel item to an inner surface of the apparel item. Besides reducing the surface area of the apparel item that comes into contact with a wearer's skin surface, the nodes also facilitate cooling the wearer and speed up drying times of the apparel item when being worn.
METHOD FOR WEAVING SINGLE FABRIC AND SINGLE FABRIC WOVEN THEREBY
The present invention relates to a method for weaving a single fabric, the method comprising: alternately forming a clearing position and a half-tuck position at a first-stage cylinder cam; and forming a half-tuck position and a clearing position at a second-stage cylinder cam formed under the first-step cylinder cam, wherein the half-tuck position of the second-stage cylinder cam is positioned under the clearing position of the first-stage cylinder cam, and the clearing position of the second-stage cylinder cam is positioned under the half-tuck position of the first-stage cylinder cam, and wherein a non-covered yarn is supplied to the clearing position of the first-stage cylinder cam, and a covered yarn is supplied to the half-tuck position of the first-stage cylinder cam.
