Medical supply unit having an elbow joint part

A medical supply unit is disclosed. The medical supply unit has a mobile housing, a manual control mechanism for controlling location-movement or location-locking of the mobile housing, and a horizontal arm. The medical supply unit also has a vertical arm, an elbow joint part that connects the horizontal arm and the vertical arm, and a rotary shaft for movable connection of the vertical arm, in which the rotary shaft movably connects to one end of the elbow joint part via the vertical arm, wherein another end of the elbow joint part connects to the mobile housing via the horizontal arm, and a first end of the mobile housing is attached to the manual control mechanism. The mobile housing can provide electrical and gas supply connections for convenient use during medical procedures.

Aerodynamic rail covers

An aerodynamic rail cover for an operating room with laminar airflow is provided. The rail cover comprises a rail cover component configured to be movably attached to a support rail of a ceiling mounted support arrangement of a medical imaging system. The rail cover component comprises a base element and an air guiding surface element connected to the base element. The base element is configured to be attached to a portion of the support rail of the ceiling mounted support arrangement. The air guiding surface element forms an air guide to be mounted at least temporarily to cover a portion of the support rail of the ceiling mounted support arrangement. The air guiding surface element comprises two surface parts that extend from starting edges on opposite sides of the base element to a common trailing edge.

Automatically actuated split-collar active mechanical brake for surgical lighting systems

A brake assembly for braking relative rotational movement of a spindle that is moveable about a central axis relative to a hub. The brake assembly is comprised of a collar comprised of a pair of arcuate leg sections, having a first end pivotally linked together to allow pivoting movement of the leg sections. A frictional surface is provided along the inner surface of each of leg section. An adjustable fastening assembly connects second ends of the leg sections together and clamps the leg sections to the spindle with the frictional surface on the leg sections engaging the outer surface of the spindle. A stop member is connected to the hub and is disposed to engage a surface of the leg sections, wherein rotation of the spindle in a first direction about the axis causes a surface of one of the leg sections to engage the stop and to reduce frictional engagement of one of said leg sections by releasing engagement with the spindle as the spindle moves in said first direction.

MAGNETIC SUSPENSION SYSTEM

A magnetic suspension system for a medical device is provided. The magnetic suspension system comprises a support structure having an area provided with a ferromagnetic characteristic, and a carriage comprising a magnet exerting a magnetic attraction force between the carriage and the support structure. The carriage comprises a friction reducing device and a drive device configured to drive a motion of the carriage upon the support structure in an arbitrary predetermined direction, the drive device being separate from the friction reducing device.

Support or supply system for medical devices

A console for supplying medical-technical devices in a treatment room has a support frame and several connectors or sockets for medical-technical supply or for withdrawal of gases and/or electrical supply currents, as well as for providing electronic communication paths for medical-technical end devices. The console can incorporate an audio playback system integrated in the support frame for filling the treatment room with predetermined soothing or therapeutic sounds. The support system may be adapted for being mounted to or suspended from a ceiling mount in a treatment room, and can have a support frame having an integrated and medically approved audio playback system.

Medical suspension bridge

A medical suspension bridge includes a cross beam, a suspension pipe and a moving module. The cross beam is connected with the suspension pipe. The moving module is movably connected with the cross beam. The cross beam includes a load-bearing beam. The moving module includes a cable carrier moving plate extending to the upper portion of the load-bearing beam. The medical suspension bridge further includes a cable carrier. One end of the cable carrier is connected to the load-bearing beam, and the other end is connected to the cable carrier moving plate. Since cables such as electric wires and air pipes within a box body which needs to be moved are collectively mounted within the cable carrier, not only the routing is more tidy, but also the cables can be well protected.

MEDICAL MULTI-LINK BOOM

A suspension arm assembly includes at least three horizontally aligned members relatively rotatable about each other, each adjacent pair of the at least three horizontally aligned members being connected to each other by a joint; a conduit pathway for positioning at least one conduit such that the at least one conduit extends along the at least three horizontally aligned members, outward of a load bearing periphery of the at least three horizontally aligned members; a brake system comprising a brake at each joint for selectively preventing movement of respective adjacent ones of the at least three horizontally aligned members about the joint; and at least one shell arranged about the at least three horizontally aligned members and the conduit pathway.

VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE BOOM HEAD AND CABLE MANAGEMENT THEREFOR

A medical device assembly including a movable suspension arm, a vertically adjustable service head located at an end of the suspension arm, the vertically adjustable service head including a service head face with outlets thereon, and conduits routed by the suspension arm, into the vertically adjustable service head in a horizontal direction and vertically within the vertically adjustable service head to the outlets. The vertically adjustable service head includes a vertically adjustable column for raising and lowering the outlets.

Medical suspension device comprising an offset arm

A suspension device making it possible to suspend items of equipment (7, 7) under a support structure comprises an anchor bracket (2) designed to be anchored axially to the support structure, two distribution arms (9, 10, 9, 10) that are adjustable up and down and that are designed to carry the items of equipment (7, 7), and that are connected to the anchor bracket (2) via pivot articulations (11, 11), each of which is offset from the anchor bracket (2) via a stationary offsetting arm (8, 8; 8).

Hospital bed computer system

A point-of-care computer system is provided, including a display positioned in a point-of-care location. The point-of-care computer includes hardware coupled to a frame of a hospital bed.
