A CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE WITH ASSEMBLY FOR NEEDLE AND SINKER SELECTION
A circular knitting machine for knitwear includes a needle-holding cylinder having longitudinal grooves arranged around a central axis and housing a plurality of needles and a needle-holding ring having radial grooves housing a plurality of holding-down sinkers, wherein each needle is paired with at least one respective adjacent sinker so as to form a needle-sinker assembly. Each needle-sinker assembly includes a pre-selection element paired with the respective needle and comprising a connecting portion aligned with the radial groove and selectively cooperating with the adjacent sinker belonging to the same needle-sinker assembly. Each radial groove has a rear section and a front section, open on the front side towards the central axis; the front section is wider than the rear section. The front section is configured for laterally containing and guiding the connecting portion of the pre-selection element in its movements during the operating cycle of the knitting machine.

A CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE WITH SINKER SELECTION AND RELATED METHOD FOR KNITTING
A circular knitting machine includes a needle-holding cylinder, having longitudinal grooves arranged around a central axis and housing a plurality of needles, and a needle-holding ring having radial grooves housing a plurality of holding-down sinkers, wherein each needle is paired with at least one respective adjacent sinker so as to form a needle-sinker assembly. Each needle-sinker assembly includes a pre-selection element paired with the respective needle and comprising a connecting portion and an activation element comprising an operating portion. The pre-selection element is vertically movable to a pre-selection configuration in which the connecting portion is engaged into a connecting seat defined in the sinker. The activation element is horizontally movable, towards the central axis, until acting upon the pre-selection element, so that the connecting portion causes in its turn a movement of the sinker in the radial groove towards the central axis, thus performing an activation of the sinker.
Stitch-size controllable knitting machine, and manufacturing method of knitted fabric
A circular knitting machine includes sinkers and selector jacks corresponding thereto that are provided as separate components. The selector jacks are arranged radially outside the sinkers, and are provided with selector butts such that the selector butts of circumferentially adjacent selector jacks are arranged at different radial positions. An actuator that acts on the selector butts is arranged radially outside the cylinder. The circular knitting machine prevents a failure of sinker selection, while increasing a rotation speed of a cylinder holding knitting needles.

NEEDLE CYLINDER AND CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE
A needle cylinder of a circular knitting machine includes a cylinder jacket having axial needle channels, knitting needles movable therein and an upper cylinder end for stitch formation having a radial groove between pairs of adjacent needle channels each having an insert forming a stitch formation surface with its insert surface protruding from the groove. Exchangeable, stitch formation surfaces form quickly replaceable inserts. Each insert is a spring lug including a lug foot overlapping the upper cylinder end at the side of the cylinder jacket or the side edge of an outer ring channel in the upper cylinder end and a lug terminal with a terminal part springily engaging behind a counter support projecting at the upper cylinder end at the cylinder's inner side or a side edge of an inner ring channel in the upper cylinder end. A circular knitting machine with the needle cylinder is also provided.
SINKER EQUIPPED WITH LUBRICATION OIL CHANNELING AND SEPARATING STRUCTURE
A sinker equipped with lubrication oil channeling and separating structure is an element of a knitting machine which includes at least a dial, a sinker disc, an oil ejection nozzle to sprinkle lubrication oil and a yarn feeder. The dial includes a plurality of needle troughs to hold respectively a knitting needle. The sinker disc includes a plurality of sinker troughs to hold the sinker. The sinker includes a base located in the sinker troughs, a driving nub located above the base, a knitting portion located at a front end of the base, an oil sprinkling zone interposed between the base and the knitting portion, and a lubrication oil channeling and separating structure interposed between the knitting portion and the oil sprinkling zone. The lubrication oil channeling and separating structure includes a separating slot, a flow channeling portion and an oil blocking portion that are around the separating slot.
