VISUAL BARRIER WINDSCREEN, INCLUDING KNITTED INTERLOCKING CHAINS FORMING WIND PASSAGE HOLES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A visual barrier windscreen comprising a first series of monofilament threads, a second series of monofilament threads, and a third series of monofilament threads. The first series of threads may be formed in pillar stitches, the second series of threads may be formed in zig-zag stitches, and the third series of threads may be formed in zig-zag stitches. A pattern of wind-passage holes may be formed by a cooperation of the first series, the second series, and the third series of threads. At least a 75% visual block may be attained with the cooperation of the first series, the second series and the third series of threads. The cooperation of the first series, the second series, and the third series of threads may achieve an air flow permeability that may be greater than 755 cfm/ft.sup.2.
FABRIC WITH BUCKLE UNITS
A fabric with buckle units includes a fabric body and a buckle yarn. The fabric body includes a surface layer, a bottom layer and a middle layer. The surface layer is knitted by a surface knitting unit in a warp knitting manner. The middle layer is disposed and connected between the surface layer and the bottom layer. The buckle yarn is woven back and forth in the surface layer of the fabric body to form a plurality of buckle units, which protrude from at least one side of the fabric body.

WOVEN/KNITTED FABRIC
A woven/knitted fabric (1) has a plurality of ridges (6) formed along one direction, and each ridge (6) is constituted by a top (3) and side walls (4), (5) under the top (3). At least one of the top (3) and side walls (4), (5) is different in color from other two of them. At least part of the plurality of ridges (6) is arranged such that a distance L4 between the ridges (6) adjacent to each other is 0.2 to 2.5 mm. The ridges (6) are set so as to satisfy the following relations:
Ratio Ra=(L2+L3)/L4=0.8 to 7.9;
Ratio Rb=L1/(L2+L3)=0.4 to 1.6;
Ratio Rc=L2/L3=0.2 to 0.9; and
Ratio Rd=L1/L5=0.4 to 1.2,
where L1 is a width of the top (3), L2 is a thickness of the top (3), L3 is a height of the side walls (4), (5), and L5 is a distance between wall surfaces of the side walls (4), (5).
