Knit Fabric With Electrical Components
20200157714 · 2020-05-21 ·

Conductive yarns in a knitted fabric may include insulating cores covered with metal layers that form signal paths. Open circuits may be formed in the yarns by removing metal from the insulating cores at selected locations within the yarns. The fabric may be formed from rows of interlocked loops of the yarn. The open circuits may be located on the loops so that each loop with an open circuit has a first segment of the metal layer that is separated from a second segment of the layer by a portion of the loop from which the metal layer has been removed. Each electrical component may have terminals that span a respective one of the open circuits and that are shorted respectively to the metal of the first and second segments.

TRI-KNIT COMFORT FABRIC AND METHODS FOR PREPARING AND USING THE FABRIC
20200131697 · 2020-04-30 ·

A tri-knit comfort fabric and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method includes steps of knitting a raw material with a three-thread yarn feeder to obtain a primary fabric, performing a greige fabric stenter finishing process on the knitted primary fabric, dying the primary fabric, then dewatering, treating through a flat-width fabric dryer and performing the stenter finishing process to the dyed fabric to obtain the tri-knit comfort fabric. The preparation method improves the wearing comfort and moisture wicking function of the three-thread fabric, and the fabric prepared by the three-thread knitting method of adding the polyester component can be iron-free after washing. In addition, its moisture wicking, quick drying, water permeability, breathability and antistatic properties are also very good. It can also be separately added with independent functions such as thermal insulating, ice-feeling, anti-UV, antibacterial, anti-mildew and anti-mite. The process is simple, convenient for mass production.

BIORESORBABLE KNIT FOR HERNIA REPAIR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

Darkening screen

The darkening screen comprises two fabrics, namely a first fabric (10) which comprises in machining direction first strips of film material and first threads (2) in between the first strips, and a second fabric (11) which comprises in machining direction second strips of film material and second threads (6) in between the second strips. The first (2) and the second threads (6) of the first (10) and the second fabric (11) have water transporting capacity. In order to obtain improved moisture transporting properties whilst maintaining a low hemispherical light transmission the first threads (2) are aligned with said second threads (6) and are situated, in a direction perpendicular to said first (10) and second fabric (11), opposite to said second threads (6) to form pairs of first and second threads. In a number of these pairs the first thread (2) is connected at different locations by cross-connections (16) to the second thread (6), more particularly by means of a first yarn (4) of the first fabric which extends in the cross-machining direction, to thereby fix the first fabric (10) to the second fabric (11). The cross-connections (16) preferably hold the first threads (2) at least at the location of the cross-connections (16) against the second threads (6).

A spacer fabric has two transversely spaced cloth layers. First spacer yarns bridge and transversely connect the cloth layers and are each formed by a core yarn and a helical wrapping made of metal or having a metallic layer. Second spacer yarns also bridge and transversely connect the cloth layers but are of different construction from the first yarns.
