SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND SOFTWARE FOR MANUFACTURING A CUSTOM-KNITTED ARTICLE
Apparel patterns may be generated as a function of custom apparel information provided by a user, such as one or more measurements, colors, etc., such that the user can have apparel custom-knitted to their particular size and shape without having to acquiesce the high expense and long wait times typically associated with custom-fit clothing. After a custom apparel pattern is generated, a custom-knitted article can be manufactured based on the pattern by transmitting appropriate information to a knitting machine. Data produced while generating custom apparel patterns can be stored and used to optimize and improve the manufacturing of customized knitwear for subsequent users. Further, such data can be shared with third parties such that manufacturers or others can utilize one or more beneficial aspects of the present disclosure without having to implement all of the functionality that would otherwise be required to obtain such benefits.
Knitting needle storage device
A storage device for holding at least one double ended knitting needle where the storage device includes a needle sorter including a first end and a second end with a gauge cap at the first end of the needle sorter, a bottom cap at the second end of the needle sorter, and a storage tube including a top end portion and a bottom end portion, wherein the needle sorter is located within the storage tube to provide a plurality of needle compartments within the storage tube, and wherein the needle sorter slides with respect to the storage tube to allow user removal of needles from the needle compartments.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR INCORPORATING A KNITTED COMPONENT WITH A TONGUE
The present disclosure provides an upper for an article of footwear. The upper may include a knit element defining a portion of at least one of an exterior surface of the upper and an opposite interior surface of the upper. The interior surface may define a void. A tongue and the knit element may have a common yarn, and the tongue may extend through a throat area of the upper. The tongue may comprise a lateral edge, a medial edge, and a forward portion. At least one of the lateral edge and the medial edge of the tongue may be unsecured to the knit element. The tongue and the knit element may comprise a common yarn at least at the forward portion of the tongue.

ACTIVE KNIT COMPRESSION GARMENTS, DEVICES AND RELATED METHODS
Garments having active and passive knitted rows can provide desired levels of compression. Garments made of active and passive knitted rows can provide dynamic levels of compression with respect to both location and over time to address a variety of conditions.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING AT LEAST ONE PRODUCTION VALUE FOR PRODUCING A CUSTOM-TAILORED COMPRESSION GARMENT FOR A LIMB AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Computer-implemented method for determining at least one production value for producing a custom tailored compression garment for a limb (23), wherein the production value is associated with at least one measurement position along the length of the limb (23), comprising the steps of: receiving a three dimensional dataset of the limb (23) acquired using a 3D scan device (20), evaluating the dataset to derive at least one reference information describing the position (1-14) of an anatomical feature of the limb (23) along the length of the limb (23), determining the at least one measurement position for the at least one production value in the three dimensional dataset using at least one rule of a rule set (34), wherein each rule relates at least one reference information to at least one measurement position, determining the at least one production value from the three dimensional dataset at the at least one determined measurement position.
SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR TEXTILE FABRIC CONSTRUCTION
Disclosed herein are systems and methods that allow an image of a fabric sample to be captured. The image may be analyzed to extract features, sometimes referred to as a stitch parameter, of the fabric's construction, such the use of one or more stitch types. Using the stitch parameters, a build specification can be selected from a plurality of build specification. Each of the plurality of build specifications may be associated with at least one of a plurality of known fabric constructions. The build specification may be exported and then used to construct a fabric similar to the fabric sample captured in the received image.
Computer implemented method, system and computer program product for simulating the behavior of a knitted fabric at yarn level
Computer implemented method, system and computer program product for simulating the behavior of a knitted fabric at yarn level. The method comprises: retrieving structural information of a knitted fabric; representing each stitch with four contact nodes (4) at the end of the two stitch contacts (5) between pair of loops (2), each contact node (4) being described by a 3D position coordinate (x) and two sliding coordinates (u, v) representing the arc lengths of the two yarns in contact; measuring forces on each contact node (4) based on a force model including wrapping forces to capture the interaction of yarns at stitches; calculating the movement of each contact node (4) at a plurality of time steps using equations of motion derived using the Lagrange-Euler equations, and numerically integrated over time, wherein the equations of motion account for the mass density distributed uniformly along yarns, as well as the measured forces and boundary conditions.
