SHAPED NONWOVENS THAT EXHIBIT HIGH VISUAL RESOLUTION
A nonwoven fabric comprises a first surface and a second surface, and at least a first visually discernible zone on at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The first visually discernable zone has a pattern of three-dimensional features, each of the three-dimensional features defining a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions have a difference in values for an intensive property. The first visually discernible zone has a visually sharp pattern defined by a periodic Haralick Wave Response, as determined according to the Haralick Maximum Contrast Test Method defined herein.
Method for making a shaped nonwoven
A method for making nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric can include three-dimensional features that define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property. The nonwoven further has a plurality of apertures, wherein at least a portion of the aperture abuts at least one of the first region and the second region of the microzone.

BERBERINE/MINERALIZED COLLAGEN-BASED COMPOSITE MEMBRANE AND PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of bone repair and provides a berberine/mineralized collagen-based composite membrane as well as a preparation method and an application thereof. The composite membrane of the present disclosure includes a berberine nanofiber membrane and a mineralized collagen membrane disposed on a unilateral surface of the berberine nanofiber membrane. In the present disclosure, the mineralized collagen with biomimetic mineralization capacity is combined with a Chinese materia medica monomer, berberine, the resulting bilayer composite membrane has a better effect on promoting osteogenesis; in addition, a novel dosage form of berberine is constructed. The present disclosure employs an electrospinning method to prepare a berberine nanofiber membrane, the berberine nanofibers are received by the mineralized collagen membrane, or after the berberine nanofiber membrane is obtained, a mineralized collagen membrane is prepared by applying on the surface of the berberine nanofiber membrane.
Method for Making a Shaped Nonwoven
A nonwoven fabric comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a visually discernible pattern on at least one of the first and second surfaces. The visually discernible pattern has a regular, repeating pattern of three-dimensional features. Each of the three-dimensional features define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions having a difference in values for an intensive property. The first surface has a TS7 value in the range of about 1 dB V.sup.2 rms to about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms. The second surface has a TS7 value in the range of about 1 dB V.sup.2 rms to about 15 dB V.sup.2 rms. A ratio of the TS7 value of the first surface to the TS7 value of the second surface is in the range of about 1 to about 3.

Apparatus with particle- or fiber-making device and an endless belt
An apparatus has a particle and/or fiber-making device and a foraminous endless belt extending in a longitudinal travel direction. A pair of horizontally spaced end rollers between which the belt is stretched horizontally receive fibers or particles from the device. A rotatable support roller between the end rollers directly engages and supports the belt, extends a full width of the belt, and has a diameter of less than 200 mm.

Electrospinning method
A method of electrospinning (40) is provided, and an electrospinning device (1; 30). The method comprises (i) holding (41) a liquid comprising a polymer melt or a polymer solution in a container (2), (ii) letting out (42) a stream of the liquid from the container through at least one nozzle (3), (iii) creating (43) a voltage difference between the nozzle (3) and a collecting surface (4), (iv) collecting (44) electro spun material coming from the nozzle (3) so as to form a fibrous structure (8) on the collecting surface (4), and (v) directing (45) a laser beam (13) towards the collecting surface (4) so as to locally remove a part of the fibrous structure (8).
METHODS OF CREATING SOFT AND LOFTY NONWOVEN WEBS
A method of creating a soft and lofty continuous fiber nonwoven web is provided. The method includes providing molten polymer to a spinneret defining a plurality of orifices, and flowing a fluid intermediate the spinneret and a moving porous member. The moving porous member is positioned below the spinneret. The method includes using the fluid to draw or push the molten polymer, in a direction that is toward the moving porous member, through at least some of the plurality of orifices to form a plurality of individual continuous fiber strands. The method includes depositing the continuous fiber strands on the moving porous member at a first location to create an intermediate continuous fiber nonwoven web, and removing and/or diverting some of the fluid proximate to the first location to maintain loft and softness in the deposited intermediate continuous fiber nonwoven web.
