Plant and method for connecting a web of fibrous material to a nonwoven or consolidating it therewith
A plant and a method for connecting a web of fibrous material to a nonwoven or consolidating it therewith includes a first circulating belt on which the web of fibrous material is laid, a device for introducing a nonwoven into the plant, and a further successive circulating belt on which the nonwoven is to be connected to or consolidated with the web of fibrous material. The web of fibrous material from the first circulating belt is first laid on the nonwoven and subsequently the fibrous material is transferred onto the successive belt together with the nonwoven for connection or consolidation by use of water jets.
APPARATUS FOR BONDING A FIBER STRUCTURE
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for bonding a fiber structure (2) by means of a fluid (3), comprising a fluid jet head (9) having a nozzle (20) for discharging the fluid (3), a manipulator (4), and a fiber receptable (25) for arranging the fiber structure (2), wherein the fluid jet head (9) is arranged as an effector (8) on the manipulator (4), and wherein the manipulator (4) is provided in such a way that the fluid jet head (9) arranged thereon can be moved in at least two spatial directions (10.1, 10.2, 10.3) relative to the fiber receptable (25).

WEB SUPPORT, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND PATTERNING METHOD
A web support with a high degree of patterning freedom and excellent durability, a production method therefor, and a patterning method. The web support is used when applying a pattern to a nonwoven substance by jetting a high-pressure water stream on a web. The web support production method comprises: a step of preparing a flat metal base material; a step for forming, by etching, a first water conduction hole and second water conduction hole that pass through the front surface of the base material to the back surface, and a recess on the front surface of the base material that includes the first water conduction hole and that corresponds to the pattern; and a step for forming the base material into a cylindrical main body section by welding the edges of the base material to each other.
Nozzle bar and method
A jet manifold (10) and a method for a hydroentanglement device (1) are provided. The jet manifold (10) has a hollow housing (11) that includes a housing shell (12). An opening (13) is provided in the housing shell. A nozzle strip (16) is located in the housing (11) and has a tub-shaped cross-section with a nozzle body (19). The nozzle body (19) is recessed in the opening (13) in the housing shell.

SUCTION NOZZLE, JET SUCTION BOX AND JET SUCTION METHOD
A suction nozzle (23) for a hollow jet suction box (14) is used for sucking liquid jets (4). The jet suction box has on a box casing (18) at least one slot casing opening (20) to a box interior space (17). The suction nozzle (23, 23) has a nozzle body (24), arrangeable above the casing opening (20), with a slot suction opening (25), which passes through the nozzle body in a flow direction (23). The suction opening extends from an inlet side (26) at a free end to an outlet side (27), arrangeable at the casing opening. The nozzle body has a mobile sealing element (29, 29) adjacent the suction opening and laterally defining the slot-like suction opening and a resilient expansion device (33), which acts on the sealing element (29, 29) and pushes the sealing element outward, away from the outlet side, against the suction flow direction.
