Embroidery sewing machine, sewing method, and program
An embroidery sewing machine calculates the number of designs to be used for sewing for a length that is closest to a desired sewing length, based on the desired sewing length and information regarding the designs. The embroidery sewing machine calculates the sewing length based on the calculated number of designs and the information regarding the designs. Furthermore, the embroidery sewing machine adjusts the length of each design such that the calculated sewing length matches the desired sewing length, and converts the adjusted data of the designs into embroidery data. This enables sewing such that the sewing start and end points match each other or junction matching is secured, even in a case of sewing in the form of various kinds of combinations of curves and lines or the like. In addition, this provides an embroidery sewing machine that is capable of executing sewing with an improved appearance.
SEWING MACHINE AND SEWING MACHINE CONTROL METHOD
A sewing machine includes a movement mechanism, a swinging mechanism, a presser device, a guide portion, a processor, and a memory configured to store computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, instruct the processor to perform processes. The processes include acquiring pattern data used for sewing a couching pattern in which a plurality of motifs are continuously arranged. The motif is configured in a predetermined shape by a plurality of stitches including a main stitch and a sub-stitch. The processes include correcting at least one selected from the group of a start point position and an end point position of the main stitch of one of the motifs, such that the length of the main stitch of the one motif is longer in a second case than in a first case, and driving the movement mechanism and the swinging mechanism in accordance with the corrected pattern data.
MULTI-SENSOR SEWING MACHINE WITH AUTOMATIC NEEDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Multi-sensor sewing machine with automatic needle speed adjustment. In some embodiments, a sewing machine may include a frame, a needle bar, a motor, a first sensor configured to emit first electromagnetic radiation at a first frequency in order to sense relative movement of the fabric and the frame, a second sensor configured to emit second electromagnetic radiation at a second frequency, that is different from the first frequency, in order to sense relative movement of the fabric and the frame, and a processor. The processor may be configured to control a speed of the motor, determine a translational relative movement of the fabric and the frame based on the sensed relative movement of the first sensor and/or based on the sensed relative movement of the second sensor, and, in response to the determined translational relative movement, alter the speed of the motor.

NEEDLE BAR MECHANISM OF SEWING MACHINE
A needle bar mechanism includes a needle bar connecting stud, two needle bars, needle bar clutches, clutch levers, needle bar clutch stoppers, and deactivating members provided two by two at the stud; a slider configured to selectively collide with one clutch lever and one deactivating member at the time of lifting of the stud; and an interlocking mechanism configured to interlock the deactivating members such that the deactivating members move opposite to each other in an upper-to-lower direction. According to the needle bar mechanism, the slider comes, at the time of lifting of the stud, into collision with the clutch lever and the deactivating member, so that one needle bar clutch can be switched from a holding state to a release state by the stud while the other needle bar clutch is switched from the release state to the holding state by the stud.
Buttonhole sewing guiding device of a sewing machine
A buttonhole sewing guiding device of a sewing machine includes a buttonhole presser foot unit disposed on a presser foot holder of the sewing machine, and a sensing unit disposed on the buttonhole presser foot unit. A presser frame of the foot unit is movable relative to a sliding member between first and second sewing positions set in accordance with an operating distance that corresponds to a size of a button to allow first and second triggering members to initiate a sensing module for controlling operation of a sewing needle.
