Delayed cord clamping system
A delayed cord-clamping surface is provided that includes a newborn platform having a recessed surface configured to receive a chemical warming mattress, where the chemical warming mattress includes a conformable surface, where the newborn platform includes a detachable platform support that is configured to position the newborn platform proximal to a surgical region of a C-section patient, where the newborn platform is configured to support a newborn baby while an umbilical cord remains connected between the newborn and the C-section patient for draining from a placenta, where the newborn platform is configured to fitably mount with a warming table when the newborn platform is in a detached state from the detachable platform support.
BENCH ASSEMBLY FOR STRETCHING THE QUADRICEPS FEMORIS AND/OR HIP FLEXORS MUSCLES
A bench assembly that stretches and develops the quadriceps femoris and/or hip flexors muscle groups of a client with the help of a therapist or trainer. The bench assembly has a basal subassembly with a front member that faces the therapist. Extending rearwardly from the front member is a first side member. A rear member extends laterally from the first side member. Each of the front and rear members have an upwardly oriented column that extends from a bottom rail of the associated member. The columns underlie a client support pad on which the client may lie recumbent and face upwardly with his/her legs positioned towards the front member before a trainer applies a stretching regimen to the legs and/or hips.
Medical examination table with retractable moving wheels
A medical examination table includes a base assembly, a table assembly, a table actuation assembly, a wheel assembly, and an actuating mobility assembly. The base assembly configured to support the medical examination table in a first mobility configuration. The table actuation assembly is configured to raise and lower the table assembly relative to the base member to thereby transition the table assembly between a lowered position and a raised position. The wheel assembly is configured to support the medical examination table in a second mobility configuration. The actuating mobility assembly is configured to cooperate with the table actuation assembly to thereby actuate the wheel assembly relative to the base assembly to thereby transition the medical examination table between the first mobility configuration to the second mobility configuration.
Braking device for operating table base
The present invention provides a braking device for an operating table base, comprising at least two supporting legs, each supporting leg having a pivoting end and a supporting end distanced from the pivoting end. The operating table base supports an operation bed whose projected area covers the operating table base. The operating table base has a first pivoting portion corresponding to each supporting leg, and each supporting leg has a second pivoting portion at the pivoting end to correspond to the first pivoting portion of the operating table base. The first pivoting portion pivotally connects to the second pivoting portion, so that each supporting leg rotates with respect to the operating table base. The supporting ends of the supporting legs extend a supporting area of the operating table base.
PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUS WITH RADIATION SENSOR
A radiation monitoring system includes a patient support apparatus. A radiation sensor assembly is operably coupled to the patient support apparatus. The radiation sensor assembly includes a radiation sensor and a first controller. The radiation sensor senses radiation data corresponding to a radiation dose received by a patient. A management system includes a second controller that stores a patient profile database. The second controller is communicatively coupled with the first controller. The first controller communicates the radiation data to the second controller for storage in the patient profile database to monitor the radiation dose received by the patient.
Surgical Table System for Use with Closed-Ring Imaging Device
A surgical table system includes components to allow for reconfiguration to enable a closed-ring imaging system to be used with specialized tables. The surgical table system includes a patient support frame comprising first and second side rails and first and second cross rails spanning ends of the first and second side rails; a first end support and a second end support, each of the first and second end supports including an upper portion and a lower portion; and a cross-beam including a first end and a second end, the first end of the cross-beam connected to the lower portion of the first end support, the second end of the cross-beam connected to the lower portion of the second end support through a hinge mechanism. The second end support is removable from the cross-beam at the hinge mechanism.
RADIATION MITIGATION SYSTEM FOR USE WITH A SURGICAL FRAME
A surgical frame and a radiation-mitigation system are provided. The surgical frame can be capable of reconfiguration before, during, or after surgery, and can include a main beam that can be rotated, raised/lowered, and tilted upwardly/downwardly to afford positioning and repositioning of a patient supported thereon. Furthermore, use of imaging techniques to facilitate imaging of anatomical structures of a patient before, during, and after surgery can be desirous. An emitter of such imaging techniques can be positioned under the main beam of the surgical frame. The radiation-mitigation system can serve to intercept/block and mitigate at least some of the scatter of the electromagnetic radiation from the emitter.
MOBILE OPERATING TABLE COLUMN HAVING AN INTEGRATED STABILITY SYSTEM
A mobile operating table column comprising a base and a stability system for ensuring that the base rests securely on an uneven surface, wherein the stability system comprises: four retractable and extendable upright support elements arranged at four different corners of the base, as well as support surfaces and an actuator for retracting and extending each of the four upright support elements. Each upright support element is associated with a support surface and can be retracted and extended relative to the latter.
Moreover, the stability system may assume at least two different operating states: i) a parked state, in which the base rests on the floor with at least three of the support surfaces and the upright support elements are retracted; and ii) a fixed stationary state, in which the base rests on the surface with at least three of the support surfaces and the support elements are extended such that they are in contact with the surface and thereby ensure that the base rests securely on the floor.
SURGICAL PLATFORM AND TROLLEY ASSEMBLY
A surgical platform and trolley assembly and an interface of a robotic system are provided. The surgical platform and trolley assembly includes a trolley portion and a surgical platform portion. The trolley portion supports the surgical platform portion, and affords positioning and repositioning of the surgical platform portion relative to the interface of the robotic system. An end portion of the surgical platform portion is attachable relative to the robotic system via engagement to the interface.
Medical system including medical imaging device and robotic bed
In a medical system including a medical imaging device and a robotic bed, the table may be movable between a first position where a maximum dimension of the robot arm not hidden under the table is less than one fourth of a longitudinal dimension of the table when the table is viewed from vertically above, and a second position where a maximum dimension of the robot arm not hidden under the table is one fourth of a longitudinal dimension of the table or more when the table is viewed from vertically above. The second position may be an imaging position or an imaging preparation position where an image is taken by the medical imaging device. The first position may be surgery position where a shortest distance between the robotic bed and a location of the medical imaging device is at least a predetermined distance.
